I just wanted to say, it's fantastic to see a video about mardi gras/gay pride on the front page features of youtube. I don't live in Sydney so I haven't been to mardi gras, but I was overjoyed that gay media was on the front page of Youtube.
It'd be great to come to a point where GLBT media is seen as no different to hetro media, but until then, this is still something. At least now gay couples are seen as the same as defacto in Centrelink. It's something.
agreed, although i think it sucks that centrelink / the government is quite happy to recognise gay couples when it comes to welfare (meaning less welfare payments the government has to fork out) yet still not allow gay couples to marry . . . a bit hypocritical isn't it?
