  • It has a Samuel Beckett feel. Even though it's technically not right regarding the condition,. I like the idea. Very well done.

  • Thank you :)

  • u are looking at old studys that was from the 70's. I have CIPA and they told me that there is a 50% chance I live to 40. I am 15 and am fine I'm not in a wheel chair. There where some cases that I have seriously hurt myself like I bit through my tongue yesterday. But as far as leg problems i'm doing fine

  • I wonder if your tongue injuries affected your ability to talk normally.

  • The people who made this video know nothing about C.I.P.A, you should do some better research next time man, and besides, the video is kinda boring

  • Man, this is cinema, not a medical research. If you don't like the movie, don't watch it.

Excelente trabajo, Luciano. Gran cortometraje. Mis 5 estrellas son para ti.

  • ooo kk thanks

  • can he taste what he is eating?

  • that was a bit of a problem for me to understand while researching the disease, but from what I could gather, some patients can and others can't.

  • That would suck not being able to taste. Isn't CIPA a rare diagnosties?

  • One of the rarest!

  • If you take 125.000.000 people, one would have the disease.

  • Damn! That's extremely rare. Imagine not being able to feel pain though! I have scoliosis and I'm in pain constantly. (for anybody that doesn't know that is a disease that makes your back curve into an S caused by a missing piece of a certain chromosome.

  • WTF no

i have scholiosis too and that had nothing to do with chromosome!

Scholiosis is Idiopathic most of the times!

    meaning- the cause is unknown

  • uh yea it is henney93. Well it can be a symptom of the deletion but isn't the exact cause, scholiosis isn't idiopathic all the time. There have been a few cases scholiosis has been theroized as a symptom. Yes I know what I'm talking about no I'm not getting my sources from wikpiedia or CNN. No I am not making any of this up seeing as how I had one of the best doctors in the united states diagnos me at a young age.

  • kay. guess i learn something everything.

although i remember somebody told me his Scoliosis is a symptom of a genetic desieas. something with K... i don't remember the name though

  • didnt u tell me u have scholiosis? ur such a liar. next time do your research and plan a better lie before trying to put people down.

  • i have scoliosis dude.

but i remembered later, that i talked with somebody who had scoliosis due to a genetic disease and not idiopathic like mine.

    chill out.

  • How bad is yours? And I didn't realize that it affected so many people. I had it pretty bad and assumed I was the only one who had it

  • mine was caught in time.... 40 degrees.

but it was really high in the neck area so it was harder to control the upper curve with the Boston Brace (bacuse i refused to wear the second type). ummm i wore it for 3 years and now i have 35 degrees (not so bad). although it caused me GREAT PAIN, i couldn't function and all and i was int he hospital for a month and a half because the doctors were stupid and didn't realized it was due to the scoliosis..

  • up untill today each time i run or jump or if somebody presses my spine. i can fall on the ground crying in pain and even stop breathing due to this pain.

it sucks- i hope i won't have any problems in the army because of it.

  • You can taste when you have CIPA you can also feel textures and any thing else that has senses other than pain.

  • It's not that rare, every woman has it :D

And until today i didn't know that having cipa means you're ill, lol

Cipa in polish means pussy what makes it the funniest name of disease i've heard so far ;-]

  • yeah he can, this is so fuckin exaggerated, people with CIPA can feel everything, they just can't feel pain, they can taste and everything, they can feel pleasure, all of their senses work perfectly, they just don't feel pain

plus, 70% of people with CIPA die before the age of 3

90% before the age of 10

there's never been a recorded case of someone surviving beyond the age of 16 without being in a wheel chair cos they've fucked themselves up at some point without noticing it. so this is shit

  • lol haveing 70% die b4 3 and 90% die b4 0 is not possible tht mean tht 160% of them die b4 10 coz its not possible to have over 100% unless they kill people with em

100% is every thing or one and thts 160%

  • no, 70% die before 3, and 90% die before 10, that means that 20% die between the ages of 3 and 10

  • NO!!!!!!!! YOU COULD JUST SAY 160% DIE BEFORE AGES OF 10 BUT OF COUSE THATS NOT POSSIBLE dieing between the ages of 3 and 10 is the same as dieing under 10 there for there cant be 20 % die between 3 and 10 coz 90% already die under 10 it would be alot easyer to say 90% of them die before age of 10 coz 3 is below 10 so you dont need to say it DUH!!!!

  • hahahaha i find it funny how much you care about this lol

  • Of course he should say it. It shows that the death rate for ages 0 to 3 (70%) is much higher than 3 to 10 (only 20%). It's an important statistic because it gives you an insight on what could go wrong during those ages. It also shows that if the mortality rate between 3 and 10 is much lower than before 3, there must be something that most patients learned after three that took them to 10 without dying, but not enough to keep them alive after 10. What's your opinion on that perspective?
