hah i don't remember posting that at all, but it definitely was me based on what I said. I am still living in Calgary, but I am moving back to t.dot this summer!!!!
Thank you, EternalVibrations. I came to this city 21 years ago as an immigrant and I have truly come to love Toronto, warts and all. No matter where I travel, I like to get to know the areas that are less well-known and share them with others who may not have a chance to get out there.
From my point of view, Toronto is a great city. I was born in Michigan and basically spent my childhood in Europe. I came here when I was 10 and have lived here ever since, and I can say it is far better than anywhere else I have lived. I'm of Indian origin ("brown") and to be honest I grew up not knowing I was different. It's the multiculturalism that makes this city the great city that it is. If you have a problem with other cultures, then please get your head examined, thanks.
I admit I didn't like it there, but since I was a child, it was not my decision to go. Still, I don't understand why you would call me "filth". Interesting use of language, really reflects well on you.
I was thinking the same but the credits do mention 'unconventional travel'. I'm impressed how she can be riding in traffic while filming and dictating.

Well then remove this video and put the good one... Until then, I would NEVER live there, that's my perception. And culturally? Lots of US postiche, lot's of "let's be cultural" kind of efforts, but heck, this can't be handled like a Wall-Mart guyzmo you aquire the next morning as you notice how lucrative this can be for a city... When it does not come from its own people, it's all a big lie, Toronto is a whore, and I don't like prostitutes... ;P
-US Postiche? There are so many small businesses run by recent immigrants that live in the area, so what you see in business reflects the people of the city
-It's Wal-Mart
-guyzmo, wtf?
-The person who responded to you is not the person who posted the video, so they cannot remove it
Toronto is a beautiful city and I don't care what cynics say.
As an immigrant myself and having experienced a difficult life in a third world country, Toronto's diversity made me feel less intimidated, and made me want to contribute more to building this beautiful country.
Anyone who dislikes Toronto certainly doesn't know what they are missing !

T. sucks !!!
I grew up there west end....fuckin city is nothing but a zoo full of people that don't take the time to embrace CANADA as a whole and learn to speak the fuckin language.
UNITED WE STAND<DIVIDED WE FALL IF you check things out in T.O. you will find it to be culturaly divided......
geezus another dumbass hypocritical, racist arrogant fool! please cracker JACK go learn a native tongue before you start making false accusations about a city you know nothing about! I almost guarantee your not from their and I also guarantee you were never born and bred in T.O so go back where you come from up in hicksville where you can eat your Kraft dinner in PEACE!
BTW: and in case you haven't notice this country CANADA you speak of was founded by immigrants and built by immigrants so who ever lands on this soil by plane or by boat! can speak any language they so choose so phaaak off and put your mouth and head were the sun don't shine BITACCCCH!
WRONG. "Immigrants" are considered as such when installing and integrating into another civilization/population and infrastrctures. WHen people build their own civilization out of nothingness, they are not immigrants. Unless you are considering some poetical approach...
@supaaztig fair enough. to be honest i wish i lived there. heck i speak english, know french etc. this area filmed reminds me of hometown area near chicago
Funny thing is that Toronto is the city that actually respects every other Canadian city and doesn't mindlessly hate them. You're the small minority that creates pointless division.
our multicultural society is what makes us CANADA.. the fact that you said learn "The language" shows how canadian u actually are. we actually have TWO national languages.
Toronto is among the world's great cities, and getting better all the time.People that don't like it here, or in Canada for that matter-should simply and quickly get the hell out.If someone ever starts a fund to get these losers out,I would gladly be a contributor to this fund.
Wait...which losers? The ones who say "It's awesome that I live here", the ones who say "Go back to the place where you're currently living and posting a reply from so good job on that since you're already there by proxy" or the ones who get angry because of a video by an amateur travel journalist on a bike going down Browntown and Spadina. :P If you don't get more specific you're going to dig that debt to hell.
You likely could make up some kind of head bracket but you'd likely look like bit of an idiot. LOL. Your video is watchable enough the dialog is great
Thanks, AuShawster. I do lots of footage from my bike, even off-roading. It takes some time to get used to the motion in the footage, but after you get over the initial nausea watching it it's a pretty decent way of getting to know some new places.
Actually I just hold my photo camera with the right hand and have my left on the handle bar. It gets a little precarious sometimes though... (no helmet cam yet...)
