my dad gave me his train set from when he was 6 yrs old. Its a lionel, santa fe, from 1951. still works, also some marks ho stuff. wonder if its cool or not? the sante fe is an O gauge 3rail

You can always keep the stripped rails for hand-laying track!

Actually I'm thinking of using the rails for a "rail fence" along the interchange.
