  • Hey Gert!! Remember This? We loved it. Thank you Jesse and peizblog 1975.

  • Perfection

  • I was 18 and very immature, away from home for the first time at college, dumped by my "Prince Charming", sitting on the exam table in the ER after having tried to OD on my roommate's asthma medication, singing this song to myself........made me feel better because 'THAT'S THE WAY I FELT ABOUT HIM". Years later I found out that he was a burn-out loser momma's boy jerk. Time to write a new song!

  • Oh how I wish someone would put "Love On The Wing" on here!!

  • I KNOW A LADY JUST LIKE THE ONE YOU SING ABOUT!

  • Jesse's songs make my heart soar, so very beautiful, just love this song! Takes me back to his concert in La Jolla, Ca at the Elephant Bar, where after signing his album, "Perfect Stranger", he kissed me on my cheek, how cool! Thanks, Jesse!

  • My oh my!

  • Jesse, this is one of my favorite or your tunes. I love your music and so grateful I've been able to grow old with your beautiful music. It's been many years since I met you and other members of the Youngbloods at Lagoon in Utah. It's great to know you are still making wonderful music

  • TAKES ME BACK TO MY FIRST LOVE

  • incredible lyrics

  • so sorry to hear your loss

  • I grew up with this music. Ridgetop, My Motorhome, this one, too. It was a wonderful time in my life. Thanks for the memories.

  • My favorite passage- the music, his voice and the words are just romantic perfection:

"Like a tree in a meadow wind

she will bend to take you in

Makes no difference where you been"

  • very nice!

love his voice - I haven't heard this song in a long time.

    excellent SOUND in this video!

    thank you! very nice

  • Long time since I heard this song. To a old lover and many nights under the Blossom Music Center Concert Series, with our friends. Jesse Colin Young was just one of them. Thanks for the Memories.

  • Nice brazilian taste!

  • I sae the Youngbloods open for the Airplane at Fillmore East in one of the greatest concerts ever.

  • I heard this for the first time a few weeks ago when a friend made me a cd of 70s music and this was on it. Im almost 50. I have played it over and over. Wonderful.

  • Beautiful music. Thanks for the upload.

  • Oh man!!! This takes me back to a great place and time. Also Ridgetop and Song for Juli

  • Whatever happened to jimmy rothermel, the one who's playing the flute?

  • This is one of my favorite songs by you Jesse, I seen you in the Oakland Stadium in 1974 with CSNY, Joe Walsh and the barnstorm, and The Band, I was 16, I have always loved your music, your voice is like silk, and covers my soul with such a soft touch. Thank you....

  • Also saw JCY lead off for CSNY in 1974 at the Liberty Bowl in Memphis. He did Sunlight, my all-time favorite song, and my eyes filled with tears with my new wife beside me. They just filled up again.

  • nice rendition! however, i would like more cowbell and less flute...

  • dig on the 3 Dog Night version also.

  • One of my favorite songs also....gonna google the chords right now and go six string it...

  • Wonderful, different version of one of my all-time favorite songs -- thanks!
