That should have been somewhat placed blame on the 42 making it 4 wide getting in the corner on lap 7 thats pretty stupid. It was part kenseth part montoya. I just hope the racing gets better with the spoiler in the pack but better racing the races at talladega really havent been that great tell the last 10 laps or so for the past 4 races.

actually, that's a spotter errror, because when you think, of all the padding in the car, these guys can't see anything next to them. and i bet this, if Dale Jr. or Jeff Gorden was in Matt's position you would say it wasn't his fault.

@epi9 Matt goes down the track to avoid Jeff he hit Montoya and then not only is he wrecked, so are the others who were involved. It isn't Matt's fault that he slowed down to avoid running into Truex, which would have also caused a wreck, and gets squeased between Gordon and Montoya. it is totally logical how Matt ended up in that position and it's not his fault he happens to be the one their. And do not act like Jeff hasn't done his share of stupid things, all drivers have their moments.

@SaintBEEP Matt didn't go DOWN the track at all. He went up into Jeff!!! lol. Everything Jeff has ever done to anyone, they've deserved it. However, I will say that Infineon last year wasn't a very good day, but he just did what everyone else was doing on the restarts.

@epi9 Exactly he didn't go down, I said what would have happend if he had, again, If Matt went down he would have wrecked himself and others. A wreck was inevitable once Matt checked up behind Truex and was squeased between Jeff and Montoya. You honestly think Matt would just for no reason wreck 20 cars, as if, no driver does that, Matt just happened to be in the wrong place at the wrong time much like all the others who were involved, including Jeff.

Its a miracle he wasnt hurt, those soft walls and hans devices are great, and even as hard as he hit, his crew fixed the car and finished the race which I have to give a big kudos to the 33 teams efforts

i took a picture of this wreck as it happened some damn guy got in the way at the end of the race when the 99 went for a ride that was wild as shit glad to see him run to the finish line.....5*****

I think there were fans injured. I think they're okay though. I'd post it, if I had recorded it. This is the only race I watch because of the spectacular crashes. There were some awesome close calls too.

they did have some fans inured......but none life threatening.....I think one had a broken jaw.....but that was bout the worse....one had I think respitory problems, that they claim was non-related...
