  • @swimpat16 It might be the cmos battery or bios battery I am not sure because it does not boot at all before I fix the problem. But get a battery that is the same type. find one on ebay maybe. Good luck. ;)

  • You/ve got a dead cmos battery, disassemble and replace. Deal is without the cmos, you're bios isn't recognizing the hard-drive.....hope you've moved on since Dec.
