am just thinking how stupid the guy is that help him lift the bike over the pole.. don't it seem strange that someone would be on a ladder lifting a bike over a pole?? i mean i own a bike myself & i doubt i would ever lost my key to my lock, since my lock key is with the rest of my other keys even if i would lose my key to my lock i got a spare one at home i never try to do that cause i be scared people would see me & call the cops on me LOL.. This is what the recession brings damn shame! SMH
Yeah, that sucks! You can see the guy probably reaching into his pockets at the end to pay the guy, that's why the guy isn't going for his ladder yet. He was probably just working nearby and the thief claimed that he lost the key for his lock and would pay him ten bucks for a few minutes use of the ladder. The guy probably never gave it a second thought that it might not be HIS bike. Most people just don't think that way, even in the city.
After watching this scumbag get away with it, to cleans your soul and restock your sense of Karma, go to "Dont steal bikes bro"

Don't just lock the frame to the pole. Try to lock the frame and tire as well. Make it more difficult as least.

@kcnirva Maybe chain him to the pole with a sign, "Thief". See if anyone steals him.

why would somebody help a bike thief??? is he gonna give him some money out of his pocket at the end?
This shows how negligent "witnesses" always ARE! where are the civic minded?
