Lets say you're rich, but then due to a free market, you become poor, losing your home, health care and left on the streets. People like yourself will believe will believe that its okay, creates a meritocratic society (which is in fact a social democrat belief) but the system puts up barriers that prevent poorer people from reaching "higher accomplishment".

I mean say you do come from a poor family and cant pay for college etc. Are there not ways to circumvent that barrier? If working and saving money doesnt work you can always join the army and eventually make a decent living. And if say your mentally disabled etc. well then of course you need assistance.

The problems you are talking about center around life not being fair, and i believe that life doesnt have to be fair nor is it coherent to try to make it that way. Also i believe that wealth and success are mutually exclusive from joy and happiness. There are plenty of poor people that are happy as they could be and plenty of rich celebrities etc that are some of the most depressed people on this planet.
