About the first line in German:

"Und nur die His ist übrig geblieben".

In english, the word "His" is translated to "Story" (as the Japanese translation in the booklet says) but it doesn't really mean that. One theory (brought up by Defade herself) is that this "His" is a reference to the german way of naming the si# / B# note (that is, an enharmonic -equivalent- of C / do). Curiously, the piano key played along those lines is C / do.

Then, the meaning would be: "And only C remained" ?

@SeleneTsuki Nope! They aren't. Mär (I guess that by Märchen you meant Mär) is the son of Therese von Ludowig, the witch. Elizabeth belongs to some noble family, and her mother brought her to Therese when she was a baby to save her life (Elisabeth's life). That story is dealt with in the next song, Kono Semai Torikago no Naka de.
