Its time to ban inflation. It doesn't make sense that prices go up and quality or amount hasn't increased. At this rate, we'll be paying $100 for a loaf of bread in 50 years

You can't ban something like inflation.

@H0WL1TZER Actually inflation is the deliberate, conscious, intentional and public policy of the Bank of Canada. They do it to avoid deflation which was a significant contributing factor in the great depression.

@AWDracer you can't ban inflation, but monetary policy is used to control inflation. i.e. Margaret Thatcher and Ronald Reagan

Government Bonds .... U.S. Treasury Bonds included are beyond my understanding. You loose purchasing power due to inflation and further you need to pay capital gains tax on the interest payed to you. Mind boggling!
