1. it does so zoom!

2. so far its battery life has out ruled my canonps

3. its sound is awesome!

4. the picture is a little rough but i most certainly love it more than my canonps

5. lie. and i barely need to charge it.

6. i paid less for my flip camera than i did for my canonps

@Ryan2142 around here in bc canada the price of a powershot vid camera in any bestbuy and / or another electronics store there goin for around $188.99 the fliphowever is goin for $230 dollars on average and the previous price is for a powershot camera from cannon also looked at pretty much any other camera ranging from $60 bucks to 200,each and every one is better specs then the flip your buying a name if you buy the flip realy

There is not a way to save the video that is sent to you via a private link. You can forward the link to others to view, but it will be purged from the private server after 90 days or 500 views, whichever comes first.

Boy are you in for a surprise. Flip video owns your videos. You cannot give your video to anyone. You can share it through their website a set number of times and at some point Flip Video erases it. Essentially they own and control the videos you take .  Sorry for the bad news.

I use a flip Ultra for my latest vids and it works great. Just hate it that when you email a video to somebody using the flip email software...the video will disappear from their computer in a few days! I guess Flip magically knows when people don't want a video anymore!? I thought WE had the choice to keep pix and videos sent to us until WE decided to get rid of...Flip(for some stupid and nonsense reason)makes that decision 'For' you! Oh...and the 800 customer service number is DISCONNECTED!

I LOVE AND MISS MY FLIP. I am trying to get it repaired, BUT FLIP support is BLOWING ME OFF. I am a huge fan, and been recommending these to everyone I know that travels. But regardless, still being blown off by their support. Loyal customers/advocates, pshhh dont need em. upload the videos from your camera onto you desktop, edit it if needed and just upload the file using the upload button on youtube, then fill out the video's information and wait for the videos to be processed.

its a fabulous little camera - very durable too. I dropped mine in the lake last summer, totally submerged, scooped it up, too the batteries out, let it dry for a few hours and it was as good as new - and all of the videos already on the camera were still there.
