Go steve a great revamp on the smartphone ops I mean phones show. Lol great work and informative as usal. Btw in loving the music at the begining and the end. Who is that by?! Also for the other commentator. I got invites to the n97 launch with carl and rafe from all about symbian. :-) blowing my trumpet. Lol
Lol dont get cocky mate, why would a big manufacture ask a small time youtube reviewer to come to their massive factory, its gunna be the big reviewers.
Small time? Have you searched on my name on Google? Blowing my own trumpet here, but I'm the arguably most influential smartphone journalist in Europe. Certainly in the Symbian OS world. Apologies for boasting - I'll stop now.
No, dont apolagize, it isnt boasting, its about being passionate on what you do, I rated this video 5 stars, subscribed and favorited and you have about 10,000 views per video, way more than me or some of the bigger phone reviewers.
Your reviews are v.good however i want to ask u a question even though u have mentioned it. You said u can only use the headphones that were supplied by them. So i can use my other headphone which are the ones that go inside your ear. If the answer is no, then why did sony ericsson do such a stupid thing lol.
Thanks for your review! Ive seen some video's and read some reviews about this phone. You are the first one saying that the wayfinder navigation software is a trial. Can you tell me how long this trial is and what it costs after?
Ive read also that the GPS signal isnt very strong but im oke with that.
No idea why I picked Vodafone over 15 years ago, but most of my SIMs are still with them. I do have an O2 one, too. And a T-Mobile. And an Orange one..... etc. 8-)
Don't forget that the N95 is a slider and will presumably have less strenuous tests to pass. The phones I was shown being tested were mainly N78 and N79 units, i.e. 'candy bars', which tend to be the strongest. I've been using an N82 for the last month and it's just indestructible. Lot to be said for having no moving parts..... 8-)

i don't hear that it comes with a video camera. Does this phone come with a video camera?? Also, where are the speakers of this phone??
abeismain 2 years ago
Yes, though it's not great. Think the speaker's on the bottom.

I want to get a new mobile. I cant decide between this one, nokia n85 or Lg kc910 renoir... HELP ME STEVE!!!
TanathosX360 3 years ago
None of them. Get a Nokia N82.
stevelitchfield 3 years ago
Hows that? What does the n82 havev that n85 doesnt?
TanathosX360 3 years ago
dual processors, graphics acceleration, a FAR better camera, better video recording.... shall I go on? The N85 only wins on the screen really....
stevelitchfield 3 years ago
Oh, thats nice to know. So... no n96, no n85. N82 is the way to go then? Nothing about Lg kc910 renoir?
TanathosX360 3 years ago
Haven't tried that but it doesn't look promising....
stevelitchfield 3 years ago
Money is not a problem. If I put in N96, the choice is still n82? or even n95.
TanathosX360 3 years ago
N82 yes. Despite the small screen and keypad. But it's a tight race. 5800 and N97 look good in the S60 world, too...

another good show, steve...
thanx...
I've seen the longer video of the Nokia testing center, gruesome..
the N95 I bought off craigslist wasn't in the best shape...
had to change screen, side volume key, and video out doesn't work properly...
after seeing what a Nokia CAN survive and still function it now scares me to think of what the previous owner did to the phone...

steve, i've a mac & nokia. how can i use pc suite in mac osx?
and do u have iPhone? Thanks in advance.....

You can't. You need Nokia's Mac suite and tools. See their web site. Yes, I have an iPhone (kind of)....

Hey Steve, great show. Some questions for u.
On a scale from 1-10, how would u rate the Innov8 and C905, in imaging quality?
arisan03 3 years ago
Both about 9. N95 at about 7. N82 at 8 - if you factor in low light shots.....
stevelitchfield 3 years ago
Great show again. Suprisingly C905 dosen't look bad all, but it's not really phone for me.
When will you have 5800 reviewed btw?
tissot233 3 years ago
I sort of did it in the previous show!! The final, production 5800 firmware hasn't even been released yet, though. Watch this space.

how do u edit your videos, what do u use

The innov8 takes the best pics, even better than the c905.

Debatable. They came out about equal in my tests.....

thanks
Yash241 3 years ago
I don't think this test centre 'did' that device. Nokia spread the load over their different centres etc.
stevelitchfield 3 years ago
how did the nokia n96 do on the nokia test
aaaarrroo 3 years ago
the samsung innov8 has an amazing camera, with the ability to record in dvd resolution. then again, the c905 has a better ability to take pics.
is the c905 able to go on youtube???

i liked the nokia test center
