@Jnel219 the sinatra song really put it all into perspective. Also considering when the show came out, the use of the sinatra song should not have been an issue. Also because of the legal hassles, the music issues are also holding up some other DVD releases. I hate the studio music.
Why'd people think marcy was unattractive? I remember my early teen 90s yrs very well, and while the studio audience (as well as classmates) were going nuts over kelly, I was getting a boner in our one-television household when Marcy walked thru that door! (IN IT OR OUT OF IT).
@NewWorldRob - Marcy WAS very attractive until they started "butching" her up. Then Amanda Bearse came out, and it was all over. But the first two or three seasons of MWC...very attractive.
@smoothpants Indeed. Nicely Put ! Lol @ "butching her up". Yea like scalping her...that crew cut or whatever it was. But man, how about all those glorious walk-ons that appeared throughout the series !!!!
Sony owns crackle. Its just that Sony doesn't want to make a bad name, so it created another company that deals primarily with more adult material such as married with children or star-ving.
A modern day Married with Children would be cool. Other countries did spin off of this show. If you like reviews of video games, movies and electronics check out my channel.
@heroheroic i think they could start right where they left. al bundy in his 60s and his wife looking like tammy fay baker. kelly and bud still living at home in their late 30s and 40s. and bud still loving on the blow up doll. kelly still thinking shes in the early 90s. al still getting shit on all the time. i think it would work.
@heroheroic Yeah that sounds nice but with so much PC bullshit today they probably couldn't get away with anything really funny about women or minorites.
The reason that the original theme music is cut here is that they dont have a syndication contract on the web and on the regular TV they do have a contract with the union. FOX is trying to get away from paying the Sinatra Estate 50k every time that the original theme is played
I really want you people to respond: does Steve not look exactly like Calvin's dad from Calvin and Hobbes? If they made a real-life show about it, Steve would have to play him (after he put on some glasses)! Right?
This comment has received too many negative votesshow
To bad at season 11 peg and al get divorced that was kinda sad how it ended kelly got married bud moved out and al and peg broke up. But al did marry a girl with big hooders!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Crackle you're the best. Those limp d**ks at Sony put the syndication cut of this episode on the season 4 DVD but somehow you landed the original here. Nice job!
agree, theres almost a whole scene cut out of the syndicated version where Al calls Jim Jupiter a "Fruit Loop" And will people stp whining about the theme music, yes it sucks but we are beating a dead horse.
NO dvd's have the sinatra theme....when he died the show did'nt wanna make another deal w/the family cuz they knew they was gonna be forkin over a good chunk of change,So they changed the theme.
There goes one broken man.

I understand why they can't sell the episodes with the theme song, but why doesn't this have the original theme song in place?

Why can't more television shows do this; put entire episodes in great quality on Youtube and just use advertisments?

lucky louie on HBO. it came out in 2006 and had only 12 epesdz..they tried making like this show but they failed..

@benjaminqueens Actually, Lucky Louie did well with ratings and with audiences. The problem was that critics and the press didn't care for it.

There was a show back in the mid 90's called "Unhappily Ever After" that was very similar to Married with Children.
bluetoaster8822 1 year ago
@bluetoaster8822 The reason why it was so similar the person that created MWC created Unhappilly Ever After
