@mark4851 Well, there is so much suck in the world that needs to be extinguished. Why help defenseless animals when you could help people in Haiti? Why would you do that when we need a cure for cancer? So on and so forth. There are so many things to donate to and so many worthy causes to help that the important thing is to give as much as you can to as many as you can. It's important to help people, but we need to help other creatures. We need to make the whole world better, for everything.

@mark4851 But you're making it sound like it's a bad thing to help cats, not that I don't agree that humans should be a higher priority than cats. And people who give money to animal shelters aren't always putting the life of an animal over that of a "sentient being", sometimes they agree that while humans are important, you can't just abandon the lives of 30 MILLION cats. For example, they can give to both charities for animals and charities for humans.

When we yook our cat to the vet for the first time we were not entierly sure of thier gender. The vet looked and then turned to us wide eyed "Boy. Defiantly a BOY!". It was a sad day when we had that sorted, but he was starting to perve on his sister...

@JohnnyMarsBar Have you ever raised cats? My cats were very protective of me...and they loved to cuddle too! It depends on how you raise them, like dogs. They're easier to house train too, which is always nice, less stains on your carpet.

I know people who have annoying gestures. Because they like to diagram EVERYTHING (ie. THIS is how you open the fridge) which is...actually very insulting. Your gesturing just looks awesome and it helps describe your excitement. I actually....kind of wanted you to gesture more in earlier videos...cause it looks really cool. Yeah, it's weird...but YOU DON'T GESTURE TOO MUCH!

I'd just like to add if your going to donate to the Humane Society, please please PLEASE donate directly to your local shelter and not on the HSUS site. All that money goes to lobbying in DC and filling their own greedy pockets. Not to saving animals and helping the shelters that share their name who are really out there helping animals. Thank you.

Kitty cats are awesome, my kitty had 2 litters of kittens totalling 7 kittens, 1 died, we kept 1 and called him Merlin. Thing is we weren't allowed by our local vet to spay her when she was under a year old, then she got pregnant, and then before we could spay her she got pregnant again. Anyway although we found homes for all the kittens, it was difficult and it wouldn't have been fair to Sugar for her to give birth every like 7 months of her life, so LOOK AFTER KITTIES, SPAY THEM AND STUFF.

I would NOT donate to the HUMANE SOCIETY OF AMERICA or any other animal shelter. I would donate to a rescue group and the reason is that rescues do what they do FOR FREE. The money's donated to rescue go straight to care of the animals NOT to pay over paid directors at the HUMANE SOCIETY. If you are "in Rescue" you should know this already. Don't take my word for it go visit the web site charity navigator and see for yourself. One director in California is earning $357,000 a year from donations.
