  • why can't fashion be as theatrical as this???

  • @escapingmyfate13 i want that dress for my quinenera!!!!! (sorry for spelling!)

  • I thought the face covering on the model at about 2:33 was very clever.

  • @6oclockable Why did I say 2:33? I meant 5:33 sorry!

  • Love the red dress at 9:23 <3

  • slightly horrified that the show started w/ a robotic reading of Revelations from the Bible.

I like my couture minus the AntiChrist, thank you.

  • Ur trash hey why r u watching this anyways? Like we care if u think this is thrash theres no more room for people like u that are afraid of art

  • so how do they make money out of it? i haven't seen that trash at the stores

  • 8:02 will be my wedding dress definitely :X:X:X:X

  • 2 people dislike this video O.o Really? Do they have Down symptoms?

  • This collection was one of his strongest and most artistic ones. G4L ;)

  • macabre couture! one of my favorite of JG's work!

  • Isaac (DJ Yoav N.Y. Mix)- Madonna

Let It Will Be - Madonna

    The Beast Within - Madonna

Antrozous - Original Soundtrack (Batman Begins)

I Thalassa Ki Emeis (Greek version of "O Mare E Tu") - Marinella and George Dalaras

  • i fancy about the plastic-like frabic they used.. it's fasinated...

  • with similar opening sound, it is much "Galliano" than the Dior HC 2010 Spring..

  • i love the blood red pant suit at 6:12

  • This is relevant to my interests.

  • nice

  • Oh my Doutzen Kroes!!!! O__O

    Brava!!!

  • the colors are orgasmic....

  • Beautiful and mysterious. Looooove it.

  • What was the theme/inspiration for this show?

  • the french revolution :y

  • that was my question!! hahah

  • Rather abstract and not his best show, but hell, I'll always love DIOR!

  • The French Revolution, The Reign of Terror, the death of Marie Antoinette.

  • The racial uprisings/riots in France was the main impetus, which led to the revolution. There's was some connection to de Sade as well.

  • i wish he'd used light blue lighting to make those red dresses ' pop ' in colour better . . .

  • carmen kass stole that show!!!!!!!!!

  • which one was she? i love her i loved morganes dress!

  • she's the one at 9:17 - 9:36

  • oooh ok yea i didnt even recognize her her walk is to die for

  • the two most color he use for the collectiion r my favorite color red and black and it very gorgeous

  • First song: mix of 3 songs of madonna: let it will be ( confessions on a dancefloor), the beast within ( i'm going to tell you a secret), and Isaac (confessions on a dancefloor)

  • the second song is by ''George Dalaras" and ''Marinella"

what is the the first one?

  • That was like a mix with Madonna's songs "The beast with in" and "Isaac"

  • @zacatecas570 yeap, pretty AMAZING

  • Strong and dramatic. Wonderful!

  • Actually the collection was based on the French Revolution...

  • it was more based on marie antoinette

  • I honestly cannot fathom how you managed to thread together this show with marie antoinette.

  • he said that in an interview with fashion television its based on marie antoinette after she went to prison and the french revolution marie antoinette kinda started the french revolution so thats how u can fathom it

  • haha, "fathom". you go BrandonG10!

  • Maybe related to the bloody french revolution but this is no way marie antoinette inspired, and if it is, he has no concept of Marie Antoinette's recognition.

  • yes it is omg watch an interview seriously marie antoinette started the damn revolution or was the cause of it and he based it on her when she was at the gallows getting her head chopped off

  • marie antoinette spent alot of money and the french people were starving therefore she helped cause the french revolution

  • really I had no clue! I learned something today.

(Im a major in fashion history 3, from the Miami university of art and design)

  • ok so how didnt you know that this was inspired from marie antionette?

  • all i said was that it looks more french revolution inspired than marie antoinette. When you say marie antoinette you think: Macaroons, cakes, jewels, abundant lifestyle, and extravagant hair dressing. and when you think french revolution: blood, violence, and death.

    that was all./my opinion

  • its Arc not Ark,and your thinking of the fall 2006 show

  • there's one section based on Joan of Ark, but in the next season Fall Winter 2006 Haute Couture

  • speaking revelation i think, its in the bible

  • The dress at around 2:19 is currently on display as part of the Gothic collection at the Fashion Institute of Technology museum in NY.

I got to see a Dior haute couture dress in person!! There are some McQueens there also. It's ongoing until Feb 2009.

  • i too these are the best pieces of art in the world

  • I saw that exhibit too. It's such a shame, that they didn't have more pieces from this collection or the Fall 06 ready to wear. The black trench at 6:32 was in the exhibit also.

  • bloody freakin'! but how can't we dislike it! Galliano is the one!

  • the jacket on 6.17 is the piece i would get.

  • i love watching dior shows :)

  • that was realy nice !?

  • carnage coouture is fabilous... inspired by the french revolution!

  • french revolution or the devil?

  • french recolution, that's why the models have 1789 as a tatoo in their chest.

  • oh gracias¨¡ me fijé mucho por que la ropa parecíe estar manchada de sangre, y no entiendo mucho el maquillaje, d q stado rs?

  • does anybody knows the line up?

  • Anyone know the Spanish soundtrack?

  • it is in Greek, not spanish

  • si y como se llama porfavor me encantá esa canción?

  • Great soundtrack

    what is that songs name

    after "the beast within"

    sounds Greek

JG knows how to put on a show

    BRAVO!!!!

  • Beautiful and way over the top. Galliano is half genius and half madman.

  • The runway is too narrow

  • john is a genius...every couture is a masterpiece

  • You mean at the beginning of the show?

  • yeah, i Know wthat is saying the spiking voice. Anybody Can help me? I need to see it Writted! thank you and excuse, mY English is so bad,,,

  • its actually called "the beast within" what it is is scriptures from the book of revelations in the bible...madonna recited the best within in the opening act of her re-invention tour

  • thank yoy guardboigt! KIsses from spain! You are invited to come to spain and eat paella and dance flamenco!hahaha.Olé!

  • i love the out fit at 6:17

    i want the jacket

    :]

  • Outstanding!!! My favorite haute couture collection from Dior...! Galliano is a fucking genius! I can definitely see Marie Antoinette wearing these clothes and the influence of the French Revolution. I only have to ask the name of the first track where it sounds like it's something being read from the Bible. It's simply haunting!

  • The song is 'Isaac' by Madonna from her Confessions On a Dance Floor album.

  • No wonder the vocals sound familiar...! It really is Madonna! Thanks, ishedonism!

  • The spoken part is from the Book of Revelations. Madonna actually did a song using it called The Beast Within from the re-invention tour.

  • actually the where shes reading is The Beast within, and the song of Isaac, let will it be,and that one were mixed together

  • @Brent360Degrees madona The Beast Within and Isaac

  • what i love about this show is this: 1- is Dior 2- is Galliano 3- the music 4- the models 5- the accesories 6- the boots 7- the reference (and the most important) 8- IT HAS A POINT OF VIEW!!!! AMAZING SHOW!!!!! A-M-A-Z-I-N-G!!!
  • What's the music at the end?? The duet in Greek... IT'S ABSOLUTELY FABULOUS!!...is it alkistis protopsalti??

  • @vcarlisle it is Marinella and Yorgos Dalaras. It is a remake of a portuguese song "O Mare E Tu". The greek title is "I Thalassa Ki Emeis" ( "Η Θάλασσα κι εμείς" in greek). Really nice!

  • @leftmano thank you very much for the info! The song is absolutely great!!! Love greece and greek music!
