I agree aswel, the first thing i noticed that i didn't think fit properly was the music score.. i did however like the scene where the actor who plays Alan uses the flare *when all the taken are surounding him *very cool*. oh and to TheAultmondol.. Markalackie wasn't being a hater.. he was just gving them his opinion :p all in all really good job and i hope you guys continue to make more Alan wake short films :)

In all honesty the music score ruined the video for me it did not in any way fit the alan wake atmosphere. Just felt like a generic action movie.

The cinematography was good but the visual effects looked cheap, and the acting was just heartless. The gunshots and the action in general were painfully slow, and your actors need to learn how to FALL after being shot, instead of calmly lying down. More things need to be moving besides the shakycam.

And I agree with InconsolateGuitarist: the Taken need to look more like Taken, and not just dudes in t-shirts holding weapons standing still until they get shot.

One thing I'd suggest, maybe add a "smokey" effect around the Taken, here it looked like some angry guys trying to kill him. That's one thing I liked and remember about the game.

Not trying to be harsh, maybe something for future stuff. I did enjoy it.

The cinematography and sound design was pretty good but the plot was just sort of... not there. I kept waiting for anything to make sense and it just sort of didn't. It was just a guy running through the woods with a flashlight. Then he killed a bunch of people with a pistol then got a shotgun.

I'm not even sure he was actually on the trail of his wife.

Either way, pretty good stuff for an indy short film but I do feel like there was more that could have been done to present a story.
