Because experiment design is a critical part of scientific discovery, these tests can not yield information about psychic anything (not saying there isn't anything there..)

so - before psychic stuff can be used - we need to understand it (otherwise, it's a random unreliable guess no one can verify or reproduce ( = NOT SCIENCE)).
