Ever done any work with KT63's? A KT63 is to a 6V6 what a KT77 is to an EL34, so a pair in P/P would push between 12 and 20 watts comfortably, and like all tetrodes, they sound really good at low volumes, so a "lunchbox" or "micro-head" with a pair of KT63's on one of my pine, poplar, or cedar 2x12 cabs just might make a really killer studio rig, and with a 4x12, it could still be gigable.
@ibelucky1 It's called crappy youtube sound quality. lol You aren't getting the exact sound of the amp. It changes through his mic and his computer and your speakers and computer. Tons of factors here. ;)
Beautiful tone, about how much would this exact head cost? If you don't want to post the price please message me with it. Thank you. Im currently playing a heavily modded engl fireball, but this tone is something else.
some of the best full harmonics and richness in an amp i've ever heard, and it grinds, i am gonna get one, one of these days, !!!, thanks for these uploads etc
This might be a stupid question, but Is this amp good for playing lead. I hear you playing a chunky rhythm progression, but how is it for Doug Aldrich/Paul Gilbert style lead? Also, could I run this through a 1x12 i need the smaller size?
@StivO2005 bogners are custom. theyre all handwired and have a wide variety of options that you can pick. not the alchemist series but everything else is.
damn this thing is so sexy, i love the combination of the white tolex and blue leds..... and the sound, well orgasmic! thats all i can say. i could have bought 2 of these for the price i payed for my bogner ecstasy =/.
Sounds like it shares a lot with the SLO. :)

Custom amps are much better than sock's, even better than Engl's, Bogner's or Soldano's.

is this a good amp for alt, hard rock, and some (little) metal?
bobs146 1 year ago
@bobs146 All of the above, does the heavy metal very well, drop-D-C- and even A!
Most players who buyt his amp are drop metal players.

davew1134 2 years ago
thanks. and that doesnt seem that bad,, compaired to other high end amps... and considering that its handwired, and handmade... thats really good.
ejb96 2 years ago
do you also make a 100w version of this???
and can you also make an amp with a Deizel Herbert Lead channel w/ the clean channel of a Fender ?
Thanks :)
alfred41395 2 years ago
2 KT88's at the volatges I am running them at do put out 90 to 100watts.
The clean channel is very similar to a Fender Clean Channel.
As far as the Lead channel is concerned, don't know anything about the Deizel lead channel as far as how it is implemented circuitry wise.
And not having played through one really wouldn't have a baseline.
The Lead Channel is in the same type of Gain Structure similar to a Diezel, Rectifier, SLO, meaning it is a modern high gain channel
