Very tasty and no overplaying..Bravo !! as that is rare. Great tele..I have a '53 tele my dad bought new & the 52 is the closest in feel to the original bar none! Great stuff!
i usually find most youtube guitar demos and the sort with blues and shit in um to be kinda elevatorish boring music, BUT THIS is actually nice listening music
and the guy reminds me of john frusciante when he has short hair =)
I am holding one of those guitars in my lap as i type this. It's my dad's and nobody has played it in like 3 months, so i thought i would pull it out and play some. Please come check out my vids where i play my tele. I'm a 12 year old blues guitar player.
Thanks a bunch for your prompt reply! Well that's good to know, I thought I had a dead pickup. I'll probably keep it the way it is. I have another American Tele and I'll be happy to have both configurations. My only complaint about the '52 Reissue is the truss rod adjuster at the bottom of the neck instead of on the head stock. Oh well, I'll get over it. Thanks again.
Nice playing dude! I just picked up this same Tele tonight and it plays and sounds great. I noticed the neck pickup sounds dead though, is it supposed to sound like that or do I have a bum pickup? It's the position all the way to the left so I believe it's the neck pickup. It just sounds dead, any answers? Again, nice playing man.
@BluesZep yo quiero comprarme la misma telecaster, tambien en la posicion del medio combinan la pastilla del puente y la del mastil, como esque no as hecho ese cambio??suena muy bien esa mezcla de pastillas??

Loving the Fingerstyle, sounds very Knoppfler-like soft rock to me. it just works, and once again, another brilliant vid. we want more! keep bringing them please :)
You have got to be a single guy with the Jack D bottle and all those beer cans on the sideboard. Who else would have all that on show in your living room!
My wife would clear it all out and put it in the fridge. Power to you man.
Grande som !! Parabens essa tele na sua mao nao poderia estar melhor!! gostei do timbre o que usou? eu tenho um som com ela no video on the pipe nos meus videos se puder da uma olhada! Parabens abraço!
That was really nice, you did a great job getting so many sounds out of your tele,I would have never guessed using a tele for a jazz based track. Is there a link where we can find that backing track-it was really nice.
far to underrated telecasters

@NicosTuscani
Your guitar is ok. The 52 reissue comes with a "vintage wiring". So, we have:
position 1 (right): bridge pickup
position 2 (middle) neck pickup, with tone control
position 3 (left): neck pickup, no tone control. in this position, neck pickup sounds too dark. This is how telecaster was wired in 1952.
However, people (include me) often change the wiring to a "modern", where you have neck/bridge on position 2 and neck pickup on position 3.

i see you got a junior and c30...how would you say the Peavey compares to the fender
FahQposeurfag 2 years ago
It's hard to explain, but they are different. BJ is cleaner and brighter, whereas Classic 30 has a more mellow sound.
BluesZep 2 years ago
thanks...that's what it sounds like from your videos...the classic 30 sounds warmer but the BJ sounds tight as hell.
FahQposeurfag 2 years ago
Is this the one with the U-shaped neck and the original wiring and not the modern Tele wiring.
I mean, in the middle position it's just the Neck pick-up and not the combination of neck and bridge? Or is it the modern wiring?
Great playing btw.

Yes, U-shape and vintage wiring
