@cantbuyrespect What are you powering with this amplifier? What is the rms of the subwoofer? High eat is typically caused by clipping/distortion, low voltage or inadequate ventilation. If the amplifier hasn't shut down from overheating then you are still safe.
I'm running one of the BXi1610D amps in my truck right now at a 2 ohm load. I love this amp and can't even imagine what the new line is capable of. I'm seriously considering putting 2 15" Hifonics in my truck this winter since I love their amps. Drop by and check out my page if you want to see them in action.
I had a question, I have 2 15 inch cvr in a ported box and they are in a suburban and the battery on that thing is kinda weak, and I hooked up a brutus 1606d and my 15s arent bouncing like they should be on the low notes it sounds kinda distorted wat do u think the might be? does it have to do with battery power, how thick the speaker wire is, would I need a stronger battery or possibbly another battery?
@larrythestoner415 You either have low voltage drops causing distortion, improper settings or your box is tuned too high and your sub/box combo do not allow for reproduction of the low notes.
@MaxxsonicsUSAInc yeah it was the box, it wasnt tuned for the subs I have, what I did is I sealed the port and now im getting ground pounding bass :D and the excursion on them is ridiculous! not only that but the sound quality at that loud of bass is awsome! thanks for the advice I appreciate it bro, and new video coming soon ill post up the video when I had them ported and ill post another 1 where I have them how they are now, in sealed so u can see the difference
is there a big difference in the bxi1610d and the brz1700.1d, im tryin to decide which one to get to power 2 alpine type r 12's. i leaning toward the bxi1610 its $100 less, but it is factory refurbished at sonic electronix, is that good or bad? and which one should i get?
@rallotubbs1 Are you saying that a brand new BRZ1700.1D is only $100 less than a refurbed BXi1610D? If so, jump on that BRZ1700.1D! It is CEA compliant, more power, has a much better heatsink to keep the components cool and it's brand new.
@Paulyfr3sh Hifonics hasn't been built in the USA since the early 90's. Just like nearly every company in the industry, in order to meet consumer demand on pricing, design and engineering is done in the USA but production is in China and Korea.
@Paulyfr3sh Not at all. I think you have a misconception of China and Korea in regards to electronics manufacturing. We, Maxxsonics, are very strict on the materials and processes used. I can't speak for other companies, only our own. The materials are identical to those used in the states, but the labor prices allow for us to be competitive and provide products at the price our industry considers affordable. Keep in mind, this is a luxury.
@MaxxsonicsUSAInc So i just finished my system, and i am overall way more then pleased with this hifonics amplifier. its only hooked to 2 ohms using half of the amplifiers power, but i am baffled by how clear and loud the bass is!!!! Hifonics is deffinatly a leet brand. Ill throw a video up here soon!!! Thanks man for all your help!
@remz92 That's actually a great question! We include dual positive and dual negative speaker connections for ease of wiring multiple subwoofers rather than trying to squeeze multiple wires into a single tap. The two positives are one internally and the two negative are one internally.
@remz92 Based on the information you have provided, I will assume that you have two DVC 4-Ohm subs. Is this correct? With two 2-Ohm loads being connected to the amplifier, you will have a final load of 1-Ohm. Your amplifier will provide 1600wrms total, or 800wrms per subwoofer.
@MaxxsonicsUSAInc Yes that is correct. Thank you. Just one last question though. Would it matter which way i connect the speakers? Since the speaker ports would allow me two different ways to hook them up (- - ++).
@Paulyfr3sh I don't recommend .5 Ohm operation on amplifier intended for 1 Ohm operation. Many have tried and there are so many variables that determine the success or failure.
@MaxxsonicsUSAInc The amplifier Should be coming in the mail soon. When i hook it up ill throw you a video of it hooked up at a 2 ohm load. :D Im pretty excited.

@fernyb0505 I would recommend getting your hands on some CA glue and bonding the crack back together. CA will be permanent so you will have no worries after that.
Hi Maxxsonics. i recently bought 2 09 brutus 12inch subs, 4ohms, and an 09 brutus 1200rms amp. i wanted to know how to wire the subs to achieve a 2ohm load and if im supposed to you all 4 speaker inputs on the amp. i currently have the subs wired like this: 1 sub, +plus+ on the sub then wired to the + on the 1st channel, -plus- on the sub wired to the 2nd channel and so on, is this correct??
@fernyb0505 Your amp is a mono amplifier. The 2 + are the same internally and the 2 - are the same internally. They help with the ease of wiring. Since you have 2 DVC 4-Ohm subs, a 2 Ohm final load is impossible. You can wire all + coils together and connect to one of the + on the amp. Then repeat this process for the -'s. This is a 1 Ohm load and perfect for your amp.
hi i wired them down to 1ohm but, my friend has the exact same setup, same subs, amp, box with cheap "downtown" brand 4gauge while im using scosche true 4gauge yet his pounds way better and deeper than mine does. he has a grand marquis i have a honda element, does the trunk compared to open space make that much difference? i have a ported box by the way. thanks
@fernyb0505 How big is his battery compared to yours? Also, can you tell me a little about the box and the position of the settings on your amplifier? Did you follow the settings walk through at the back of the manual?
@MaxxsonicsUSAInc his battery is about 30% bigger but his lights dim and mine dont. we put the same settings on the amp and his is still louder. right now we only have the level and bass eq raised while everything else is off and the bass knob at 50%. the box is just a house brand 3/4mdf. wat settings do u recommend on the amp for that clean loud bass? thanks maxxsonics
@fernyb0505 Sounds like you may have low signal voltage coming from your source unit. Phase = 0, Low Pass = 11 o'clock, Subsonic = 12 o'clock to 2 o'clock, Bass EQ = 9 o'clock to 12 o'clock but no further, Level should be adjusted as I instruct in the manual. Headunit volume as loud as it can go without distorting other speakers, then slowly turn Level in a clockwise motion until optimal output is achieved without clipping or distortion.
@MaxxsonicsUSAInc ill give the settings a try then use the HU to tune the subs, im running a deh-p8mp premier unit, one of the greatest radios made, i dont see any other brands who would bother helping out people on youtube or online for that matter, shows how great the customer service is over there at Maxxsonics, thanks guys
@ilegal91 The amp is a 1 channel amp with multiple + and - speaker connections for ease of wiring multiple subwoofers. In your case you simply need to connect all + coils to either or both of the + speaker terminals on the amp. Then repeat the process with the - coils and - speaker terminals on the amp. This will be a 1 Ohm final load with 2 DVC 4Ohm subs.
you guys should make a new( american warrior /taurus x amps) or generation x/goliath amps and industria/pegasus amps .......... or like back in the day i remember the cartoon's in the books back in the day
I need help!! Im thinkin of getting two Hifonics OLM1612's and a Hifonics BXI 2610D amp, I know about the amp but i dont know much about the subs. and would they sound good in a probox?
This is NOT a good combo. Your amp is 1 Ohm stable, but your subs are DVC 2 Ohm giving you either 8 Ohms, 2 Ohms or .5 Ohm final load with a pair. You should consider the Hifonics XXV Colossus which is 1600wrms per channel at 1 Ohm or 3200wrms x 1 @ 2 Ohms.
I am planning on runnning to Lanzar Max ST 12's and not sure which sure which amp to run them. The Crunch GPV200.1 or the BXI1610D. Any suggestions will help thank you!!!!!!
What impedance (Ohms) voice coils are on your subs? What is the rms powering handling per sub? The GPV2000.1 is 950wrms and 2kw maxx. The BXi1610D is 1600wrms FYI.
4 ohm dvc. Lanzar do not have an rms on their website or on the sub it just have a peak at 1000 watts and I was thinking of switching to the lanzar max pro12's or 15's which the pro 12's handle 1600 watts peak and the15's 2000 watts peak.
yea i see that now thanks fo the help, and how do you think two 15" kicker cvx's could compair to two OLM1615's? cause i want a really loud system lol i just never heard any of the olympus subs in person before but they look like they hit hard and the RMS is more than the kicker cvx
using a BXI 1210D at 2 ohms, what can I expect my maximum wattage output to be? I am ready to buy this amp but need to know what the max is before I finalize my purchase
I had the 2006 model of the BXi 1206D. Was a pretty impressive amplifier while I had it. Ran for a year pushing a single 12" Pioneer at full tilt daily. The SQ wasnt that great though, but it still had impressive power despite dropping down to 12.4v and even going down into the mid 11v range with deep bass. It ate too much power for the kind of power it put out. I had a stock 95A alternator. The amp eventually stopped turning on, i assume due to running low voltages for so long.
Yes, low voltage and insufficient current supply definetly contributed to the damage of your amplifier. As voltage drops, the amplifier will demand more current. Without the supplied current, the amplifier will begin to clip. This is the case with any amplifier not being provided sufficient voltage and current based on its' individual demands.
The BXI2610D is rated at 2600wrms @ 14.4V. As with most class d amps, you will lose approximately 18% potential output when you drop from 14.4 to 13.4 (2132wrms). 13.4V to 12.4V is approximately 16% lose of potential output or 1791wrms per BXI2610D. This is only possible if you have the batteries to supply the current though. Takes power to make power.
I want to power 2 12" Alpine type R (2 ohms) 500 rms 1500 peak... with 2 BXI1210D amps ( one on each subwoofer) is that good or bad. what would u recommend as the best for this set up?
hey mike thank you for my trophy got my 2-12''mojo's hooked to 2-bxi1610d's street-b db drag build we had a local show last weekend took 1st place in my blazer 148.3db@43hz i can play it all day lol love your amps i am looking into buying 2-bxi2610d's should get close to 150 then with a little retune to my vehicle frequency 52hz hope for 152 might be a serious competitor for 2010 with a little tweaking hope to see you at finals in 2010 c-ya
Will I get more out of my BX!2010 if I change my fuse? right now I have a 100 amp fuse that came with my amp kit, but i am about to upgrade to a 300 amp fuse for it.
If the fuse isn't blowing then you aren't pulling enough current through it to snap it. What size power and ground cables are you using? What is your voltage dropping to at the amplifiers' power and ground terminals. Stock or upgraded battery and alternator?
What impedance voice coils are on your subs and what's the rms power handling? This amplifier is capable of 2600wrms @ 1 Ohm and 14.4V. What does your electrical system consist of?
I have 4 guage wiring, But when i get a new radio I am going to get 0 gauge wiring and another fuse and fuse holder. I don't know what the voltage is dropping to. I have an upgraded battery but stock alternator.
I checked out your setup in the other vids and can tell you that you don't have the electrical for the BXI2610D. Upgrade to 0 power and ground, look into an upgraded alternator as well as upgraded batteries. Your voltage drop at the amplifiers' power and ground terminals is probably well below 12V.
i have the same amp...im getting 12 to 13 volts under full load at amp terminals...whats the input voltage rating on these amps??? Like 12 to 18 or what???
It depends on the voltage drop and reactive load during play. It takes power to make power and your electrical system can be limiting this amplifier. What size power and ground wire are you using? Also, what are your settings on the amplifier? Please provide the positioning as if you are looking at the face of the clock.
Hey i wrote u guys earlier...i have two 15'' mb quart subs...they're 700 watts rms 4 ohm dvc...and im in between gettin the hifonics brutus bxi1610 and run 800 watts to each sub...or should i get the mb quart 1500 1.D and run 750 watts to each subs....i really wanna stay true to maxxsonics!!!
Hey since you are like the main guy with Maxxsonics how do you think a 15" Fi BTL would handle on a Hifonics Brutus BXi 2610D? Do you think the amp is underrated in terms of RMS?! Write back please!
What is the rms and maxx power handling on your 15" Fi BTL? I know it varies based on mods you choose.
The BXi2610D is 2600wrms @ 1 Ohm and 14.4V. It is very tightly regulated so it doesn't gain a ton when you raise the voltage. It will handle up to 15.1V.
I have two 15" mb quart subs...and they're rated 750 rms a piece...and i was thinkin of gettin the bxi 1210d and runnin the 900 watts at 2 ohms to each sub...wut do you think???
I have 2, 12" Kicker Solo Baric L7's and I am going to buy a brutus amp. Should I use the 1610 or 2010? I think the 2010 is best because it will run 1300@2 ohms and my subs can run 1500@2. I also have a 3 farad cap.
What impedance voice coils are on your subwoofers? Please keep in mind that a stock battery is good for 1000-1200 watts so I hope you have an upgraded battery if considering these amps.
I'm powering one Fi 15" BL 1000 rms+ on the 1610D mono block and some speakers on a 400 zeus, will my stock 150 amp alternator be sufficient with stock battery without upgrading the power and ground wires to 1/0 awg?
The stock electrical system is good for 1000-1200watts in most cases. You are lucky and have a nice alt, but I would recommend upgrading your battery so that you can provide sufficient reserve for your amplifiers demand.
Ok and I dont plan on pushing the amplifier to its fullest so I can save some wattage for speakers but do you think I can increase the life of my brutus by setting the gains to a lower level? And is stock power and ground wires from my battery and alt good enough?
The MLX-100 Maxxlink might be better in your application with multiple amps than the MX-3. The MLX-100 has all of the MX-3 features plus the ability to send equal signal to multiple amps. I posted a few vids showing its' capabilities.
i just purchased 2 of the bxi1610d's will these be enough power for my memphis mojo 12''s ? they are dual 2ohm each so each amp will be running @ 1ohm i will also be using 1-kenetik monster 3800 for extra batt installing in a dodge ram quad cab mids and highs amp is a zxi4410 and also the mx-3 for bass control to the subs thanks
4 gage power wire and i think it's 8 gage ground wire right now. but i'am going to have to get a cap. for sure. i have a kenwood excelon KAC-x520 1000 watts max and it pulls my lights way down. don't know alot about capacitor's and the farads ??? thanks for the help!! and do you have a store on e-bay or do you sell these amp's?
YIKES! With your current electrical setup and wire size you can only use an amp around 1000-1200watts. If you are still considering anything around 2000wrms+ then you must have 0 awg Power and Ground and substantially upgraded and possibly even multiple batteries. You will destroy anything you put in there above 1200wrms with your current setup. Please think about this closely.
hey looking into buying a hifonics amp but not sure what one i need? I just got two 15" kicker CVX 4 ohm dvc sub's. ls the bxi2010d or the bxi2610d a good match? thank's for any HELP!!
From what I found in research, the CVX 15" will handle 1000wrms per and 2kw maxx. I would recommend looking at the BXi2610D. What does your electrical system look like?
In most cases the stock alt will be sufficient if it is 60amps or above, in good condition, and if you have sufficient reserve (battery power) in the install. How many batteries, what kind and what size power and ground wire are you using? Everything must be considered.
I just ordered the 2010D for my 2 15" kicker L7's, 4 ohm dvc each. Going to wire them down to 1 ohm to get that 2000 RMS... Am I doing any good? Will I get lots of power to push my 2 L7s?
The brutus has landed! All Brutus '10 models are in the house and shipping. Please contact Customer Service at 1-847-540-7700 to locate your nearest Authorized Dealer.
If i get a brutus bxi2610d do i have to change my charging system. I have a deville with 140 amp alternator , if so what amp will give me all my watts with out getting a new alternator.
Your 140amp alternator will be adequate for charging your electrical system, but please be aware that you will need an additional battery with high reserve, or 1 BIG battery up front.
Is the brutus rated at 14.4, if not then what? Also how does the rms match up to rockford fosgate, mtx, kicker and whats the real rms i will get from this amp using two yellow top battarys and 200 fad cap.
ALL of our amplifiers are rated at 14.4volts according to CEA standards. I am not familiar with models from other manufacturers and how they rate them. 2 yellow tops and a 200 farad cap should work great for the BXi2610D as long as the batteries are in good condition.
The 10 series has a new cosmetic design, additional ventilation on the endpanels for heat dissapation, thicker PCB's, thicker copper traces, larger torroids and a revised layout. All of this results in a more efficient and more reliable design.
do you know if i can play a 2000 watt brutus at .5 ohms?

@urpre I do not suggest running any amplifier below the lowest impedance provided by the manufacturer.

i got a brutus bxi 1606d
Number of Channels1 - Mono
RMS Power (4 ohms)550 watts x 1 channel
RMS Power (2 ohms)1100 watts x 1 channel
RMS Power (1 ohm)1600 watts x 1 channel
and i got 2 DVC 4ohm subs 12" 1235watt peak.... what is the best way to wire them up so i can get the most power out of the brutus bxi1606d.
ilegal91 1 year ago
@ilegal91 The amp is a 1 channel amp with multiple + and - speaker connections for ease of wiring multiple subwoofers. In your case you simply need to connect all + coils to either or both of the + speaker terminals on the amp. Then repeat the process with the - coils and - speaker terminals on the amp. This will be a 1 Ohm final load with 2 DVC 4Ohm subs.

I need help!! Im thinkin of getting two Hifonics OLM1612's and a Hifonics BXI 2610D amp, I know about the amp but i dont know much about the subs. and would they sound good in a probox?
lilzavaleta 2 years ago

3BENSON 2 years ago
What impedance (Ohms) voice coils are on your subs? What is the rms powering handling per sub? The GPV2000.1 is 950wrms and 2kw maxx. The BXi1610D is 1600wrms FYI.
MaxxsonicsUSAInc 2 years ago
4 ohm dvc. Lanzar do not have an rms on their website or on the sub it just have a peak at 1000 watts and I was thinking of switching to the lanzar max pro12's or 15's which the pro 12's handle 1600 watts peak and the15's 2000 watts peak.
3BENSON 2 years ago
yea i see that now thanks fo the help, and how do you think two 15" kicker cvx's could compair to two OLM1615's? cause i want a really loud system lol i just never heard any of the olympus subs in person before but they look like they hit hard and the RMS is more than the kicker cvx

using a BXI 1210D at 2 ohms, what can I expect my maximum wattage output to be? I am ready to buy this amp but need to know what the max is before I finalize my purchase
smartcar111 2 years ago
The BXI1210D is capable of 900wrms @ 2 Ohms and 14.4V. These amps are tightly regulated so you won't see much more than that at 2 Ohms.

alright i will look into it thanks I am looking for something to kick my pioneer premiere 10" sealed slim line
smartcar111 2 years ago
I had the 2006 model of the BXi 1206D. Was a pretty impressive amplifier while I had it. Ran for a year pushing a single 12" Pioneer at full tilt daily. The SQ wasnt that great though, but it still had impressive power despite dropping down to 12.4v and even going down into the mid 11v range with deep bass. It ate too much power for the kind of power it put out. I had a stock 95A alternator. The amp eventually stopped turning on, i assume due to running low voltages for so long.
320bit 2 years ago
Yes, low voltage and insufficient current supply definetly contributed to the damage of your amplifier. As voltage drops, the amplifier will demand more current. Without the supplied current, the amplifier will begin to clip. This is the case with any amplifier not being provided sufficient voltage and current based on its' individual demands.

i just got 2 bxi 2610.
how many watts can i expect of each amp at 12,5 volt?
moddingpc 2 years ago
The BXI2610D is rated at 2600wrms @ 14.4V. As with most class d amps, you will lose approximately 18% potential output when you drop from 14.4 to 13.4 (2132wrms). 13.4V to 12.4V is approximately 16% lose of potential output or 1791wrms per BXI2610D. This is only possible if you have the batteries to supply the current though. Takes power to make power.

Will I get more out of my BX!2010 if I change my fuse? right now I have a 100 amp fuse that came with my amp kit, but i am about to upgrade to a 300 amp fuse for it.
igetdachewin 2 years ago
If the fuse isn't blowing then you aren't pulling enough current through it to snap it. What size power and ground cables are you using? What is your voltage dropping to at the amplifiers' power and ground terminals. Stock or upgraded battery and alternator?

I want to power 2 15" L7 with a hifonics bxi 2607DE is the amp powerful enough to push the subs?

What impedance voice coils are on your subs and what's the rms power handling? This amplifier is capable of 2600wrms @ 1 Ohm and 14.4V. What does your electrical system consist of?
MaxxsonicsUSAInc 2 years ago
the subs are 4 ohms but i want to make them 2 ohms and am going to use o gauge amp kit along with an extra battery and a capacitor
DONTTRIPBITCH510 2 years ago
If the subs are DVC 4 ohm and you wire coils in parallel, subs in parallel your amp will be capable of 2600wrms.
MaxxsonicsUSAInc 2 years ago
alright thanks

I have 4 guage wiring, But when i get a new radio I am going to get 0 gauge wiring and another fuse and fuse holder. I don't know what the voltage is dropping to. I have an upgraded battery but stock alternator.
igetdachewin 2 years ago
I checked out your setup in the other vids and can tell you that you don't have the electrical for the BXI2610D. Upgrade to 0 power and ground, look into an upgraded alternator as well as upgraded batteries. Your voltage drop at the amplifiers' power and ground terminals is probably well below 12V.
MaxxsonicsUSAInc 2 years ago
i have the same amp...im getting 12 to 13 volts under full load at amp terminals...whats the input voltage rating on these amps??? Like 12 to 18 or what???
ShaunDiener 2 years ago
It depends on the voltage drop and reactive load during play. It takes power to make power and your electrical system can be limiting this amplifier. What size power and ground wire are you using? Also, what are your settings on the amplifier? Please provide the positioning as if you are looking at the face of the clock.

Hey since you are like the main guy with Maxxsonics how do you think a 15" Fi BTL would handle on a Hifonics Brutus BXi 2610D? Do you think the amp is underrated in terms of RMS?! Write back please!
GotDreamzzz 2 years ago
What is the rms and maxx power handling on your 15" Fi BTL? I know it varies based on mods you choose.
The BXi2610D is 2600wrms @ 1 Ohm and 14.4V. It is very tightly regulated so it doesn't gain a ton when you raise the voltage. It will handle up to 15.1V.
MaxxsonicsUSAInc 2 years ago

If you have an upgraded battery and your subs have dual 4 Ohm subs then you would present a 1 Ohm load to your amp and you would be in business.
MaxxsonicsUSAInc 2 years ago
will the brutus 2010 sound good on pioneer premier 12s???

igetdachewin 2 years ago
If you are rolling with 2 12's then I would recommend looking at the BXi1210D or the BXi1610D. The BXi20210D will smoke a pair of 400wrms subs.

I have 2, 12" Kicker Solo Baric L7's and I am going to buy a brutus amp. Should I use the 1610 or 2010? I think the 2010 is best because it will run 1300@2 ohms and my subs can run 1500@2. I also have a 3 farad cap.
GCreek99 2 years ago
What impedance voice coils are on your subwoofers? Please keep in mind that a stock battery is good for 1000-1200 watts so I hope you have an upgraded battery if considering these amps.
MaxxsonicsUSAInc 2 years ago
I'm powering one Fi 15" BL 1000 rms+ on the 1610D mono block and some speakers on a 400 zeus, will my stock 150 amp alternator be sufficient with stock battery without upgrading the power and ground wires to 1/0 awg?
gamer3301 2 years ago
The stock electrical system is good for 1000-1200watts in most cases. You are lucky and have a nice alt, but I would recommend upgrading your battery so that you can provide sufficient reserve for your amplifiers demand.
MaxxsonicsUSAInc 2 years ago
Ok and I dont plan on pushing the amplifier to its fullest so I can save some wattage for speakers but do you think I can increase the life of my brutus by setting the gains to a lower level? And is stock power and ground wires from my battery and alt good enough?

mojos 1000 watt continuous 2000 peak
neonman1995 2 years ago
Oh yeah! I think they will work out great! :-)
The MLX-100 Maxxlink might be better in your application with multiple amps than the MX-3. The MLX-100 has all of the MX-3 features plus the ability to send equal signal to multiple amps. I posted a few vids showing its' capabilities.
MaxxsonicsUSAInc 2 years ago
i just purchased 2 of the bxi1610d's will these be enough power for my memphis mojo 12''s ? they are dual 2ohm each so each amp will be running @ 1ohm i will also be using 1-kenetik monster 3800 for extra batt installing in a dodge ram quad cab mids and highs amp is a zxi4410 and also the mx-3 for bass control to the subs thanks

lilcode85 2 years ago

I just got two 15" kicker CVX 4 ohm dvc sub's. ls the bxi2010d or the bxi2610d a good match? thank's for any HELP!!
lilcode85 2 years ago
From what I found in research, the CVX 15" will handle 1000wrms per and 2kw maxx. I would recommend looking at the BXi2610D. What does your electrical system look like?

im gonna get a 2610 soon. do you think it will do good on a stock alt?
lilzavaleta 2 years ago
In most cases the stock alt will be sufficient if it is 60amps or above, in good condition, and if you have sufficient reserve (battery power) in the install. How many batteries, what kind and what size power and ground wire are you using? Everything must be considered.

Your 140amp alternator will be adequate for charging your electrical system, but please be aware that you will need an additional battery with high reserve, or 1 BIG battery up front.
MaxxsonicsUSAInc 3 years ago
Is the brutus rated at 14.4, if not then what? Also how does the rms match up to rockford fosgate, mtx, kicker and whats the real rms i will get from this amp using two yellow top battarys and 200 fad cap.
mackoneboy 3 years ago
ALL of our amplifiers are rated at 14.4volts according to CEA standards. I am not familiar with models from other manufacturers and how they rate them. 2 yellow tops and a 200 farad cap should work great for the BXi2610D as long as the batteries are in good condition.

good stuff! what's the difference between the 08 and the '10 version?
pboyski 3 years ago
The 10 series has a new cosmetic design, additional ventilation on the endpanels for heat dissapation, thicker PCB's, thicker copper traces, larger torroids and a revised layout. All of this results in a more efficient and more reliable design.
