The Writing is awful, and has terrible long pauses. Really, can you actually defend that acting? The Directing mixes in with the long pauses. The effects are literally awful as well. tiuric77 is right about it all.

Harry Potter is a well, thought-out 7 piece saga that is packed with action, huge surprises, it's also heartwarming, and the movies have amazing effects, and great acting. The stuff Twilight lacks...all of that. People complaint about the Harry Potter movies because it can't fit all of the stuff into the movie because of the story size and descriptions. Twilight makes those boring pauses because the story has long holes and boring areas. That is why New Moon and Twilight were boring.

The volturi are the vampire counsil and so important to the saga, why dont they have a reasonable reason for theyre cruelty, and if theyre big antagonists, why arent they included to bella in the first book, instead of them we have the other weak antagonists, james laurent and victoria.
