  • yestarday i had a song for aspecial group of people-today for the other special group the one that makes me smile,fm 1980-bic lighters, sparklers and 2 beers for a dollar -not a cell phone in the crowd...

  • At the end, you're just like... Holy fuck...

  • Comment removed

  • Bic lighters, 2 beers for a $1,oo, lil pot smoke in the air~~ and we made it anyway! Thanks Joe.

  • Finished "The Wonder Years" again last night... Best series ever, no discussion.

  • 1980 , you sure?

  • ughhh at 1:29 WTF is in the persons hand in the background?

  • The Wonder Years.

  • 5:42 The Sheffield soul shouter still has it.

  • Outstanding. He definitely takes the song's meaning to a new level. This is proof that a cover can surpass the original, me thinks (and sorry, I don't think the Beatles are untouchable).

  • wonder Years !!

  • at 5:43 the hair on your goose-bumps stands up

  • 43 years now, where'd they go... (I don't know.. ) Good stuff ...

  • i never ever thought any version of this song was better or worse. sometimes, i am more in the mood for this version, at other times, i want to hear the harmony of the beatles and 'that sound.' i like both versions equally.

  • @cmarcelo10 Yes Wonder Years :'(

  • beatles rules

  • @ Illuminatmatrix... get your facts straight, son. Charles Manson didn't have anything near the talent to write such a song... Remember, the Beatles "sang" to Charlie, not the other way around. When were you born boy???

  • in een woord: geweldig

  • This video is much more recent than 1980.

  • help you get with casino spielothek

  • Gracias desde Woodstock hasta hoy!!!!

  • potenza!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • @salarisattilio emotionally heart gripping

  • podoba mi się to

  • i dont like this version

  • I love the Beatles but Joe's version of this song at Woodstock - Woa I think he definatley brought the house down! So powerful!

  • Goooddd Mate !

  • What a great man Joe is!

  • Mr. Joe , Thank You For A Help .. I Won't Forget

  • how is this guy famous? the old man can't sing for shit... Josh Krajcik of the X-Factor sung this song 10 times better...

  • IMMENSO!!!

  • There aren't so many singers giving always everything. And I don't agree with @Ryguyyyyyyy that only the Beatles should sing that song. The music is living with many interpretations. ...

  • church ?

  • this song was ripped off.. beatles should be the only ones to sing it

  • Danyl Johnson sang that awesome at UK X factor.

  • This version sounds similar to how SNL closed out their shows in the 80s.

  • BEATLES ORIGINAL , Joe screwed it !!

  • @ivin88888 And no one ever talks about that crap ass, commercial jingle version The Beatles did. This version is a million times more significant.

  • @Neno8403 The Beatles and ORIGINAL version is in the top 500 best songs of all times accord Rolling Stones magazine... Joe Cocker sucks!

  • @ivin88888 Whatever point you were attempting to make, is irrelevant and lost of me. The Beatles being the originators have no bearing on this argument. Dolly Parton was the original singer of "I Will Always Love You," but no one knows or cares... Whitney Houston's cover is the de facto standard. The Beatles version sounds like a Kidz Bop commercial jingle. Joe Cockers' sounds like a religious masterpiece and was used for the theme song to "The Wonder Years." You fail.

  • @Neno8403 masterpiece? i don´t think so, for me Joe´s version is a bullshit comparing it with the beatles one, but..whatever , every one hvve different likes,but... in this case, you fail !!!...

  • @Neno8403 maybe you´re a Joe´s fan and i´m a BEATLES fan... that´s all

  • 5:43 :D so fucking METAL!!!

  • da kommen mir die Tränen..........hammer geil, schade, dass ich nicht dabei sein konnte

  • It wouldn't be so charming without Hammond organ. This little wood box is a true voice of God..

  • @Gryszaq You are so right nothing sounds like a Hammond, Cocker and Hammond winning combination.

  • u should love u self dont hate your cowokers

  • people that dislike this should have to put signs in their yard so you no where they live like sex offenders

  • 119 and counting, no taste either, morons.

  • shame about the adverts, cos this frikkin' ROCKS

  • lol and get hot with me

  • Love this guy! great video! Look at his expressions and body movements... just pure passion!!!

  • Amazing!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • charles manson made this song

  • why did i think this was by the beatlesd

  • @sofnsable beatles made the song

  • i love that song

  • also Always a good time with me

  • This song gives me chills like nothing i've ever experienced - i feel like i can't really just relate to this song more than any other song i've heard. I guess the message is just exactly what i'm all for

  • I REAMEMBER DIS FROM WONDER YEARS BACK INI LIKE 90S OR 80S THAT SWAS REAL TV

  • The Old Man is just incredible; This is far better than the Woodstock version!

  • @stratocaster1231 is that the onely song that Ringo is singing on? the lead part...and drumming wow

  • great

  • Volle Energie, Gänsehaut pur, thats Joe...

    iwalinski riddlemaster

  • IT WAS EXCELLENT!!!!!!!!!

  • I get high with a little help from my friends!

  • This song is so good; from the sounds to the message itself. For this reason it continues to transcend generations, because I am proof -- being born in 1985 and all. :D

  • dudes old

  • Very good cover, but I think the Beatles' original version is better

  • @AlexBeatleman Listen to his 1969 Woodstock version. Its like he's possessed (cocaine obviously) and is the greatest live performance i've ever seen. Tell me if you like the beatles version more after that :D

  • @sheeeillaaa I've heard it and I still find the Beatles' version much better

  • @sheeeillaaa He actually has a physical condition that makes him move his arms like that. He still has it, but it's not as pronounced as it used to be because of medication. It has nothing to do with coke. Coke wasn't even that big back then. LSD and Marijuana were. Coke was about to make it's major debut in about 6 years. So, no, he is not possesed...

  • @PlanTonto I wasn't referring to his arm specifically. Just his general state of clearly being on something at the time. He was a big abuser of Alcohol, Cocaine and then Heroin from the late 60's to late 70's (his own words in interviews)

  • AIR GUITAR WIN

  • just as intense as he was at woodstock. this guy is fuckin amazing!!!

  • 111 people have no friends....sad

  • @offdtop the other 8 have no brain :D

  • its not filmed in 1980 ...

  • Kevin Arnolds Forever! hehehehehe...

  • So funny watch Joe Cocker hands moves

  • I'm in love with his "rrrrr" sounds <3

  • LOOKS LIKE A DAMN CRACKHEAD!!!

  • Comment removed

  • Ringo! Jamás debiste tocar la batería, y mucho menos cantar!

  • You must listening to Danyl Johnson... singing this song !

  • Gänsehaut

  • This is bloody hell marvelous

  • Come on, im the biggest beatles fan ever but this is good man. And my dear father loves cocker.

  • mythical song!!!!!!

  • Thumbs up if you agree-this kicks the Beatles ass!!

  • @Bd7Batman no one is going to be better than beatles NEVER. This version is as good as the beatles version but it is not better.

  • cocker's voice sings the song of a thousand broken charms but coupled with the love of a brutal father crying at the loss of his children due to over drinking. angels over your body joe. x

  • his voice is a dream ! wow... i´m metal fan but this voice is so perfect

  • Joe eats Beatles

  • Sr but Beatles's version is better, in my opinion

  • 3:09 love tasty drum fills like that!

  • Heute in Hamburg, 42Jahre nach Woodstock, es war ein klasse Konzert im Stadtpark.

    Joe.... You are so Beautiful

  • neem,1,mee,om,my,te,halen,ik,wil,weleens,wat,anders,zien,jou,dan,is,het,easier,voor,jou,maybe,tip,tot,zo,pause,denk,erover,hony

  • while he may be a great singer.. and the background music is great... he should simply write new lyrics and name it something different because it sounds NOTHING like the beatles version.....

  • @frogboy122192 That's why its called a cover...

  • @retronovation7 covers are supposed to sound similar to the original song, thats why your doing a cover.. your not supposed to write a totally original music piece and just throw someone else's lyrics on it.

  • @frogboy122192 you have a point. I will have to compare the original to this piece.

  • @frogboy122192 Umm, he stays true to the melody. I don't know what you mean by how it sounds nothing like the Beatles sound.

  • Hammondwowwwwwwwwwwwww :D

  • damn the backingground singer that stand in front is so fucking hot damn man

  • WOW,,,,,,,,,,,,,Thank for posting

  • Ilove!

  • I hate Joe Cocker's name. I don't know why but it's an awful name. But what a talent the guy has! I 've never bought any of his music until now due to his crappy name, but I will be now.

Sorry Joe. (If you EVER read this!)
