15 blocks from my safe white neighborhood in Brooking NY woman being blackmailed, separate from their child and abused every day by their husband . They can't protect them self nor ask for a divorce, because some twisted man decided to subvert a holy book in to archaic twisted tradition. Those woman are not Muslim nor African but Jewish. Similarly some extremist Mormons marry girls young as 13 to the descendent of their prophets : adult male between 50 to 70.

Infibulation in not an African or Muslim practice only. This archaic twisted tradition is practiced only in specific area of the African territory. This because of lack of proper education and health support (which we as western developed country have some responsibility for).

Archaic twisted traditions are used every were to control woman sexuality. This even within safe boundary of the western civilization.

@Nouri8885 the ladies get opened a little after marriage and totally opened when they give birth to a child and then sewn up again because otherwise the wounds wouldn't heal and they'll get infections. this cycle repeats again and again after every childbirth until the ladys' private parts are totally scarred and sometimes there isn't even enough tissue to sew her up again
