this eboot is just as useless now as it was before, I think gaby finally realized that getting the psp's card into rfmon isn't possible.

But yes if you get the key you just put it in in the network connection tab on the XMB and it should connect. the psp supports wep and wpa-tkip(psk) no wpa2 support tho

this psp app doesn't even get the key on its own, you need a computer and a supported wireless card to dump the IVs (initialization vectors) to crack wep. And since you need to dump the keys with a pc why not crack the keys with a pc which would be a whole lot faster than with the psp. so long story short again gaby64's psp-aircrack is useless

Just to let everybody know, I am making AirCrack-PSP not only for fun but also for personal use and for others. Packet capturing and injection is totally possible, but it is not included by sony and even blocked but there are ways to get it working past those obstructions and I am determined to get this working. It will just take alot of time and hard work.

Bazement258Studios, if gaby gets packet injection and mon. mode working on the PSP then thats awesome but imo its just not going to happen. the reason i said its made just for fun is because at the current stage its in now all it does is crack IV's or dict. attack a 4way-handshake but you still need to dump the data from a computer and if you dump the data from a computer you might as well crack the data from the computer too, its a neat app and i give him props for makin it but its useless imo

if the app. wasnt made for fun why would he make it, if coding and sharing his ideas and programs isnt fun to him he wouldnt of continued work on this. im 99% sure he made this because he enjoys coding and therefor this app was made for fun. im not trying to get smart with you (hard to express words with text) but everyone that makes things for no "profit" does it to challenge themselves and to have fun, i know i wouldnt make things and hate doing it just for nothing.

i dont have wireless but my neighbor does and it gets 96% connection strenght so if i use this then dump the files to my computer will it show me the wep Password?

you need to use a supported card on your computer to dump the files you dont need a psp at all this app is absolutely useless it was made for just because. google about aircrack-ng also i wouldnt mooch your neighbors wifi w/o permission from him/her because its illegal.

Again, it's not useless, and it wasn't made "just because", the PA, team is working very hard on this and will probably have packet capturing by the end of summer. If the PSP's wifi card can support it, if it's possable will know by the end of summer.

no, it can crack the password of the files (cap. dumps) from you computer this app is pretty much useless.

Of course it is now, it's still in Beta testing, hell it's not even to v1.0 yet. Although, it's scanner now supports for security types, then Sony's.

The current version will work on ChickHEN, but I doubt it will be able to run once it can capture packets, as it would require maniplulating flash0 (1, 2, 3) plugins and ChickHEN, can't touch the flash memory, it runs out of the PSP's RAM.

what the wep being cracked? wep is extremely insecure and can be dumped and cracked in 3mins or less on a computer.

.... no its because the psp cannot dump the required packets for cracking it later, the psp can only crack the packets if they have been dumped from somthing that CAN support dumping IV's

this is possible but no on the psp, aircrack-ng suite

nope not now not ever, the wifi card in the psp isnt supported to enter monitor mode.... so itll never be able to dump wep or any wireless encryption.

if you have a CFW PSP you would just copy and paste the folder into your GAME500 folder.

if your psp isnt hacked it wont work.

umm not that im aware of, if you can you can download vmware player and backtrack 3 vmware version. and when your running backtrack 3 in vmware you can type airmon-ng and itll list your wireless adapters... if you cant do that take your wifi card out of you computer and write down the serial number and model number

no, your psp can crack packets only not dump them. if you where to bring a laptop to school and dump the packets with it then put it on your psp then yes that would work

get your computer with aircrack-ng installed and dump the IV's then copy the asdf-01.cap to your psp and crack the IV's.
