I got a crick in my neck man!! I had a bike with a car tyre on the back..eeww handled like a dog,..didn;t need a side stand though LOL..good concept but the weight!!

imagine a tiny nuclear reactor inside a closed steam recyle system..with rods about the size of a match..should be able to knock one together in the back shed..you'd need to wear lead undies though..so we're back to the weight problem...damn.

I had a dry clutch on my Ducati 916SP and one on my Kawasaki ZX7RR race bike. Much of the rattle of the Ducati's dry clutch is caused by the vibration of the motor at idle, the Kawasaki's dry clutch made very little noise.

Now here's the part where you say "Duh, oh yeah".

An electric motor would have almost no vibration, no need to idle and no need for a clutch. AT ALL.

Chain noise is proportional to the number of links in contact with the sprocket multiplied by the chain surface speed then squared by the angle of the camera plus your silly accents

you have 2 options to eliminated the chain noise. 1- use a belt drive rather then chain.

2- use a wheel hud motor(brushless)..

what i do with my electric dirt bike(i also converted) is oil the hell out of it with 50wt oil and it takes 80% of the rattle away..... i do that once every 2 weeks cause i ride it alot
