  • I just looked for more videos you might have of the magpies. I'm a yank that lived in Deakin Canberra for a year in 73-74. One season of those birds going nuts was worrying enough. Keep up the great videos mate.

  • @AH6OY thx mate, they seem to have stopped swooping me for now, maybe nesting season is done for the time being... I have more footage of that same day. I scored a hit on the tail, there's a hole from a beak and some scratch marks from their claws, another magpie took out my mates Kinetic 800, all the the down to the ground, bent it up bad... damn birds...

  • obsequeiousphil - I do not understand, go and disturb the animals in the woods with the engines, with propellers in the water with the carnage they do, and now in air, but where they can rest assured that you will not kill as well as with guns, nets and livestock camps ? You complain that even defend the few feet of territory that left to live! Sorry, but we have to let they live, do not disturb them as well. Damned men ... :-)

  • @hornets599 I don't remember complaining, but thanks for your comment! Cant wait for next swooping season!

  • Drive them nuts and wear them out mate. Better they swoop the plane than pull the usual swoping on you and the neighbors. Darn buggers cut and draw blood during the swooping season. Would be nice to run FPV and shoot plastic pellets on their tails when they play that game.

  • @AH6OY lol, what a great idea!

  • that is just craziness.
