Amazing isn't my first choice word. It just looks like lightning to me.... Just got done with severe weather, one tornadic storm after another, in central Texas tonight, and saw this kind of lightning for 3 hours and even better, so I don't share your opinion of "amazing" sorry.

Hi! I'm looking for footage of the storm I was caught in, Hong Kong, Lantau Island -- I can't remember if it was 2005 or 2006 :\ Summer, July and a sudden intense hurricane warning with EXTREME lightning all over the islands -- I was ON TOP OF THE MOUNTAIN AT DUSK when it began, and got stuck up there in the pouring rain, watching all the islands in the ocean being pounded with massive bolts of lightning, which were also blasting down all around and beside me! If anyone has video, pls post!!

The whole "lightning never strikes the same place twice" thing is actually more of an urban legend that was proved false. I watched the evidence on a Reality TV documentary and what they said about it makes sense. The saying was made up so that people were less afraid of lightning and also less likely to move and get hurt.
