If I remember correctly, the ending was permanently cut from TV viewing. I think it had something to do with the blackface character change. I don't understand blackface, but for some reason, people find it very offensive.

Nevertheless, this is still a very great cartoon!

If I remember correctly, they probably thought they would get a lot of complaints due to the blackface racist stereotype. But also there was a poster in the original cartoon tht showed Bugs as Hitler which would get a backlash nowadays. It's pretty sad thinking about how far society would go just to try and please everyone.

@SVJR13 Blackface is something white people used to do in the early 20th Century.They would pretend to be black people and act stupid. At least that's what I know about it.
