Outsourcing is just half the story,now corporations are importing cheap foriegn labor. Legaly and illegaly, Just look at any meatpacking plant or construction site. These aren't jobs americans don't want. They are jobs corporations don't want to pay a living wage for. There is a difference.

I was let go from a place I worked at for 3.5 years before the owner of the company found out he could buy everything he made from China cheaper than he could buy the raw materials. If we had politicians who cared about the working man, our country would require the Chinese to value their currency correctly or slap a tariff on their products as they came into the country.

Its one thing to selectively outsource jobs that involve mindless repetitive work such as.. making plastic toothpaste caps. But these multi-nationals are eroding America's ENTIRE manufacturing base to nothing. There have been 3 MILLION HIGH PAYING manufacturing jobs lost under Pres-i-dent Bush! And these so called "Free Trade Agreements" give them a green light and a red carpet on the way back!

They are now "outsourcing" EVERYTHING including white collar professional jobs. Everyone has heard of I.T. and Banglore. If this continues only the high payed "eltite" and senoir management will remain here. This is unethical. This is WRONG. And it is destroying peoples lives in the name of more profits for the rich.

It makes me bloody mad to see these outsourced companies, i mean the ceo's do realize the potential for a stock decline due to poor service, i mean if we stopped buying a dell for their outsourcing theyd lose money, seems to me the service and ads and quality need to be pimped up to get money, not pimped down.

Absolutely true ! Middle class is going to disappear and you will only have the ultra rich and the the very poor. Little do these freaking idiots know the long term effects will be catastrophic because nobody then can afford anything. This is going to happen sooner than we all think.....Welcome to the new and coming third world country.
