@curlysucks ...Kerouac and thumbs, pulling small town waitresses into backseats.
Jack Kerouac was part of the "beat generation". He wrote the novel, "On the Road," which I highly recommend if you like any of Anis's/Buddy Wakefield's/Beat poets/spoken word poetry works.
@curlysucks Kerouac, a beatnik author who wrote a story on a typewriter without editing. there is a manuscript in a library of the hundreds of feet long novel written on pages taped together. he traveled across the entire country twice either hitch-hiking or driving.
This morning this poem has me greet the day with tears rolling over a smile. A smile almost frozen on my face almost thawed as these tears race toward the mattress as I wake, toward the carpet as I shake dreams off the place where I am becoming.

@timmybro10 when i first heard him something reminded me of Ginsberg. it's good to know my thoughts weren't unfounded.

Does anyone have a transcription of this poem?
English is not my mother-language and can't quite understand some parts.
It would be very much appreciated!

That was sooooo bad ass! He signed my snare drum back in 07. And I'm jealous that he has a beard and I don't.
