@gmcbuses The Final year is going to be 2013 for all H Trains. (according to wikipedia)

@cumberj001 That is epic failure, and a very big waist of money, and good equipment. What should be done is a rebuild for all of the H trains, them running for 12 more years. It would only cost 100,000 to rebuild each car, opposed to spending 1 million for each new one. It is recession times on top of it. I"m 100% opposed to the TTC waisting money when they are threatning fare hikes, service cuts.

@gmcbuses I know, the driver called me back and said the student fare is $2.00. Because I had put $1.85, anyways it was nice of him to let me off with a Warning. Yeah the TTC plans the bring the T3's To the YUS line, to Replace the H5's. So, the T1's can move down to the BD-Line. I'm guessing the Remaining H-series would be the H6 because they were built from 1986-1989. They got like some life in them I guess...

There are different characteristics of all the cars in service, the T1 cars have a distinctive deceleration sound, the Late Hawkers have a accel. and decel. regenerative buzz, and that i've just found out, the H4's have a slight whirring sound when accelerating.

Yep, all I can say is HAWKER CARS RULE!! lol

In my opinion the H4's are the best trains on the system, hence the seats

Don't worry, I've heard worse...check out my vid of the H4 and H6 train at Kipling and you hear it for yourself...it's bad...
