  • Majic will always exsist!!as long as music like this can B heatd!!chacka69G-DBless (Moses)

  • @69chacka I think about U! R U still out there?

  • magic used to exist..

  • ...and he aint even tryin' yall. REEDICULOUSLY talent like this never makes it to the limelight anymore. I MISS THIS!

  • The single best ever live performance any where. Such a remarkable rendition of this song. I saw him live at Wembley, the Royal Albert Hall and many more times throughout his life, and every single time he would blow us all away. Such a wonderful talent. There will NEVER another Luther. Miss him so much, especially that feeling when you first buy his latest album to see what awaits every new single. Simply the best.

  • WOWOWOWOWOWOWOWOWOWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWW

  • Pure talent. No autotune (T-Pain) or mousy, hardly audible unrecognizable voice compared to the recording (I'm looking at you Taylor Swift). I can make these comments---not because I'm a "hater," but because I listen to all of them and can thus make an informed, unbiased comment. Luther was just a cut above the rest---as they say in a league of his own. It's just a different culture in "music" today. It's all about gimmicks.

  • I use to listen to Luther with my father. He has such a wonderful voice. none can compare. Thank you so much for posting this DazManRnB

  • dat is da BIDNESS

  • All i can say is DAMN!!!!!

  • ONE OF THE GREATEST BALLADEER'S OF ALL TIME MR. LUTHER VANDROSS

  • Is this the voice of God? I think so!

  • A BEAUTIFUL MAN with a BEAUTIFUL GIFT from Above. I watched this clip, cried like a baby and proceeded to throw every single CD I own as well as my Ipod out of the bloody window because no one or nothing comes close to touching this man's ability to sing. Did anyone notice @ 3:07 in the background even Paul Whitfield gets emotional listening to this man perform because of the absolute beauty and meaning behind every word. What a talent, there will NEVER BE ANOTHER Luther Vandross. Pure silk.

  • Iconic performance that was live ppl

  • This man was the ultimate master at his craft, others did a great job at singing this song but Luther took it to a whole other level , just look at the faces of the women in the audience , including Janet's......Thank You for what you left us with Mr Vandross

  • Without doubt the best live vocal performance ever. Simply awesome

  • Everyone, notice this. No naked women on stage, no acrobatics in the background, no women in a meat suit... no gimmicks. Just Luther and his voice. At what point did we forget what talent was?

  • The soulful expression of excellence flows through this brother's artistry like no one else. Thank you Luther for allowing the music to come through that will continue to inspire for generations to come.

  • Three people are obviously NOT at home :-)

  • LUTHER LUTHER LUTHER, MAN THERE WILL NEVER BE ANOTHER BROTHER

  • Im 21 and Ive been saying "Lutha know he SANGIN!" since I was at least 9 or 10

  • God! this song makes my eyes heavy!:)

  • What a man. How sad to have lost him way too young.

  • Der wohl talentierteste R&B-Sänger - mein größter Traum wäre ein Konzertteilnahme gewesen...schade!

  • Thank you for this upload, this is the best sounding one yet. I love this naacp version.

  • I've hrard Ella's, Dionne's, and many others and Luther owned this song. He took it and made it his own. And Dionne's reaction sealed it!

  • Luther, please come back

  • @fanofprotopic If he comes back I'm getting the hell out of Dodge! I'll just enjoy the videos. Lol

  • Thank God I saw him in concert before he left this world. What an experience to see this live.

  • i'm still in love.

  • No one can sing this like him. Luther Vandross's version is simply the best.

  • said his voice is velvety, smooth as silk..I say his voice is like liquid heaven. Just unmatched for all time. We miss u Luther. Thank you for blessing us with your short time on this earth.

  • He still blows us away..... Amazing!

  • This is a great performance! Thanks for the post.

  • Amazing.

  • 2:47 is that janet jackson ? lol

  • excuse me, who's the lady who's crying? 6:13

  • @valarangel

    Grammy-Winning Legend Dionne Warwick......!

  • @ZOUZOU1959 thank you so much... Me, being ignorant, thought she was his mother.

  • i cant just stop listening to ths wonderful, beatiful voice

  • this mans voice is a blessing

  • OMG lutha still make mah panties wet lol love you muah:)) smooches

  • The two people that disliked this probably use their mother's mustache sweat for jerking off.

  • Epic performance, so extraordinarily gifted. I believe every word he sings. This is the gold standard right here.Crying right now, dammit. Too bad he's gone

  • WOW!!!

  • Trey Songz and Chris Brown dislike this video

  • @1914inches LOL i know that"s right!

  • Oh my lord! You are so lucky to have this man back with you.

  • Perfection.

  • WOW

  • X Factor contestants...................... step your fucking game up. THIS is the standard, try to match it or go home.

  • Sing it Lutherlove this song.

  • X3 at the couple in the audience at 1:48.

This is pure life at its fullest :)

  • I found that this song is more on lyrics than the melody. I need melody to survive the whole music, but this guy just tears me up with his singing!!! I was squealing like the ladies in the audience! It's just full of emotion and the song actually sounded GOOD in his care!! I can't believe I never heard of Luther Vandross! Cheers to your ultimate talent!

  • @spiritfired Thats alright my new brotha. Weve got plenty more for you. sam cooke, otis redding, temptations, stylistics, whispers, delfonics, levert, ojays, tevin campbell, boys2men, new edition, johnny gill, and whoever else pops up on the side when you listen to them

  • pure f***** velvet ........ 'nuff said

  • This man was so beautiful. I loved him with the weight. And I loved him without it. This Burt Bacharach joint is one of the best versions of this song I've heard. Love you Luther. RIP Love you Burt. You're a genius.

  • wow. No one comes close to this. Not even Barbra. He just rocked it to the moon.

  • found this.... reminded me of how awesome of a voice he had... and how this world is missed by his talents. Rest in peace Luther

  • People understand that this is God at work. Try as you might, you will never be able to sing like The Master unless you have been blessed with an abundance of talent like he was. We are just as blessed to have had him for as long as we did. RIP Luther.

You were indeed one of a kind.

  • Every woman is hanging on his every work

  • CLASSIC

  • In the first few seconds im thinkin" Oh he bout to do this shit" lol

  • @AntnysWorld he just made you feel like they were his words he just thought up just for you... I miss him. God Bless Luther..

  • If Luthor didn't get laid after that performance or get offered, something was very very wrong.

  • Sure miss Luther and his music! My dream occupation was to be one of Luther's back-up singers! lol This, y'all, is real music...and he was one of the last great singers.

  • EVERYONE HERE THE KANYE WEST / TWISTA 'SLOW JAMS' SAMPLE IN THIS SONG?

  • I miss his voice and music so much. In my opinion, no one else will ever come close to Luther. I think about his dear mother. She must miss him much more than all of us (his fans) put together. RIP my brother. You, too, are gone to soon.

  • I love this song. RIP Luther!!

  • Dionne Warrick essentially discovered him, he sang backup for many many groups including her, and she encouraged him to go out on his own because as we know, he was just that good

  • Quite possibly the best vocal performance of the last 50 years. Luther at the height of his powers is like the Astronauts landing on the moon! Champagne for the ears! Richard

  • THE 1 PERSON THAT DISLIKE THIS IS A FUCKING IDIOT. LUTHER THE BEST BEEN MY FAVE SINCE A LIL GIRL AND IM 21

  • @sodmg2008 He's not an idiot, he's just bitter that he comes back to a house that's not a home every night.

  • Trey Songz disliked this video.

  • hate to tell you but he is NOT more or less singing this to warrick.

in fact if you watch this video you can not possibly say that because there is zero reason to think it.

  • diddy's the only one who hates this song . the one dislike .

  • thumbs up if you're watching this cause of Comin Home by Diddy Dirty Money

  • 4:38-4:52

  • this clip never gets tired

  • @nauris706 sho dont

  • That voice. I usually say Luther's voice is like warm oil but this ... this performance takes it over the top. His voice is so finely tuned. An awesome gift to us. We love you forever, Luther. This one must be on God's iPod!

  • One of Luther's greatest performances...he was one of the most gifted singers ever. This always reminds me of my deceased husband...the love of my life...for the rest of my life something will be missing until I am with him again.

  • @ministerzel

I understand, ministerzel. Life goes on, but your mind and spirit search endlessly for that connection which is gone from the world. I rejoice with you that you and your husband, and me and the love of my life, will be together again.

Thank you, Luther, for saying what needs to be said: love is all that matters...

  • My favorite version by the Legendary Luther Vandross. As would prefer to be known as. What a star, soul indeed. Music that has stuck with me since a young age, and still listening to at 29 years of age.

  • @Paulster5o LOL!!

  • We lost one of the greatest voices in al of pop history when he died.

  • Luther's performance of this song at this time was his magnum opus. He had perfected it over the years from other performances, but this was the crowning glory of his rendition. He wasn't pleased totally with it because of some tonal flaws, but he gave his best. I was blessed to hear it at the time he performed it.

  • Thanks for posting this. Brings back memories, and I hope to make some new great memories with my new wife with this song as well. :-)

  • The dude stands still and sings and steals every mans woman in the whole auditorium. I wonder if he took Dionne home that night just for shits and giggles?
