I miss Misty like everyone else. Brock's OK, but he can't sing that well. Misty can, and she has the most personality out of all the good guys. She's smart, pretty, spirited, determined, emotional, and I know how she feels, being the youngest of her sisters and the black sheep.

OK, on to the song...it's the first time Misty shows any affection for her sisters. It's pretty good, this song.

It's because the anime isn't by Nintendo, Nintendo just makes the game, and the anime is to advertise the games, like the new ones. Whenever a new generation comes in, a new female, usually a character/gym leader from the new game takes over. We have Misty for Kanto/Johto, May for Hoenn, Dawn for Sinnoh, and now Iris for Black and White. I do however, wish Misty could have more cameos in the show. As for Brock, I hate that he's gone, but we were lucky to even have him for so long
