This isn't a Hang Glider! It's a the wing of an Amerian Aerolights Eagle Ultralight. Very popular in the 80's. There are still plenty flying today, you should look into it, a good wing is worth its weight in gold. I've rebuild a few and there great fun!!
Please don't hurt yourself!! and don't ruin that wing!!
Where and how did you come across it? How did you figure out the bow sprit? do you wnat to sell it?
I have many gliders that are very easy to fly,and learn on. can trade you. And as some of the comments said, it is a very tricky and squirly glider. Dont break it!
Hang gliders are easy and safe to fly when you know how,but they will kill or cripple you if you don't.Get rid of that obsolete glider. There is a reason you don't see any of them around any more.Get yourself taught how to fly by a professional instructor and open up a whole new world of fun.
That looks like a very old, advanced wing. It's probably very difficult to fly and dangerous. Don't fly it any higher than you're willing to fall!!!! It may get 'stuck' in a turn, refuse to pull out of a dive, stall easily, fly fast etc. Assume that every flight is going to be a wipeout, and if you really want to fly get an instructor and a Falcon. Have fun!
That's how to get killed. I'm an instructor and I'd be happy to show you guys how to fly but there's no way you guys are going to fly that without seriously injuring yourselves of worse.
Sorry I just would hate to hear of one of you getting killed
SELL IT TO ME!!!

...you'll truly get far more enjoyment and
many safe flights IF you get professional
instruction. Don't repeat the often-fatal
'trial and error' methods of pilots from
the 1970's and earlier when they didn't
have any benefit of experienced instruction
and properly made & thoroughly tested
gliders.
