New Brawl Glitch "Ledge Running"

i found a new glitch. its not very impressive but instead of running, i kno how to walk on ledge.

dont you just tilt the control stick in your direction slower? like just slightly tilt to the right

@Kyuutoryuu That method works too but its harder and its not the method I use.

it had been found on melee but was different : the character would start dashing slowly then accelerating. You can majorly find this in Falcon videos, it is known as the "sticky walk" or the "stupid dash".

Oh yeah, I learned about this too. XD I can do it forever, but just with the GC controller. It just stops when I try it with any other one. or it won't last as long rather.

Finally somebody put this up...no: Finally I found a video about it. I was playing Basic Brawl and somebody just did this out of nowhere. Me and the other players looked at him like ??? Everyone stopped fighting. XD

Btw. this is useful for G&W. When you perform a dash attack and hit a recovering character they get stage spiked. Well of course pulling it off against a good player is hard...

Other character can probably do this too.

if you can master the ledge running part with Sonic, than you can run longer in the big blue with bunny hood sonic. i've found if done correctly, the cars will pass through Sonic as his running speed slows down because of ledge running

Southerkun, You have to beat the SSE and then do the Forest level and go in the first door you see.

For some reason this doesnt work amymore. Tried over wi fi and it didnt work. There is another way where you tilt the stick back a little but it os more difficult.

Yeah there's that one yoshi who does this down b glitch where it stays in place on that pillar, continually doing the down b. And then it also did ledge running

I'm sure you dudes already know this but Kirby can do that down+b glitch in Pictochat.

Also, this is very important, you guys know when Metaknight uses his down+b? Well how the hell do you stall it or make MK dissappear for a longer period of time? I've seen ppl do it online (anyone) and idk how 2 do it.

Yeah, it's called IDC (Infinite Dimensional Cape). Basically, if you do a DC and hold down on the joystick while mk is moving upwards, you can stall the cape. How to do this: well, I only know how to do it with a gc controller... mk's upsmash brings him upwards a little, so if you down b + hold down + up c stick like crazy, he won't appear, that is, until your hand gives out on the c-stick. Trust me, it takes tons of practice, and look it up on smashboards or something for more info.

You can do it on the Wiimote + Nunchuck with shake smash on, though it's just a little harder because you might do a D-smash by mistake.

Wouldn't that be the same thing as standing in place? There are no walk attacks.

I think he means "ledge walking" as opposed to ledge running.

But that would be the same as just standing towards the ledge, so it's not important.

I guess it has a possibility of being a ledge guard for some characters if you can dash attack while doing this.
