Wait is natural gas better than oil. Natural gas is cheapest, cleanest, & most common in the world. Also the questions is can Natural gas last forever in cars, trains, trucks, civilians/military planes, helicopter, & other forever than oil. Well if it is true then there is no point for our country, USA to pumped oil from Saudi Arabia, Kuwait, Iraq, & other Arabs nations. We should stop pumping oil out of middle east sine we got natural gas.

A CNG equipted vehicle's engine will powerup out of stops by decompressing CNG and then burn CNG to continue down the road. Present CNG vehicles ignore the fuel's high preasure as an energy store.

An engine capable of powering up on compressed gas (no combustion) may incorporate regerative braking; probably compressing air into a compressed air tank. Even run the car on compressed air.

CNG refilling stations will be ready to offer highly compressed air, natural gas, and hydrogen.

We will have need for Oil for a long time. I've disliked Oil since I was a child and got car sick often. I would love clean alternatives, but the sad fact is, many people cannot afford to go to alternatives overnight. Many businesses are dependent on oil. Consider who cultivates our food. Farmers. What do they power their farm equipment with, yes Oil products. Do you want billions to starve because of selfish feelings. We should drill our own OIL first and bridge this awful dirty technology out.

You are right. Clean energies have to be made more affordable so everyone can be able to afford to change their cars. It doesn't make much sense to advocate cleaner energies for cars and then not make it easier to have those for everyone. T Boone has it right, we HAVE to build a bridge using fuels like this. We can't just go to a cleaner source overnight. If people would just understand this, we could already be on our way to a cleaner energy future.
