hi there , which kind of programme for the lighting did you use in your video? What kind of make over did you use. I´d very much appreciate your advice .
Does the canon GL2 have the option of shooting in 16:9 Ratio? I make short films and i want the artistic look of widscreen. I just wanted to know if it can shoot in widescreen and if the camra has imputs for shotgun mikes?
damn, I can't believe this is on a gl2. I have one and I wish I could get my footage to look that good. What kind of DYI 35mm adapter did you use? how'd you make it?
YES! Someone who has a gl2 and actually has tallent! I'm tired of these dumb people making all these stupid skating videos who have NO tallent at all in terms of film making. And most of them aren't even that good at skating! I'm a film maker and I would kill for a camera like a gl2!
I have actually upgraded to the XHA1 and I love it. The GL2 was a really nice camera. It has full manual control. Professional lighting is key to get great over all quality.
Actually, we just officially weighed the RNG35 with the achromat 72mm lens and it came in at exactly one pound. This must be one of the lightest professional adapters on the market. It's also a vibrating adapter milled from aluminum. Check out pics of the rig when you can. rng35 dot com
This is awesome. Wow. Can you adjust the white balance to other colors to achieve different tones? If so what are some useful colors to adjust to? (Other than orange)
tkmslee, what software effects programs do you recommend for post? i have a GL2 and have recently been wanting to trade it for a good piano, but with your good work I think I might keep it for another year! thanks. any info would greatly be appreciated. thanks
hey thanks! i used mainly adobe premiere for the whole coloring process but sometime i mix it with after effects(usually for night shots). you have cool video yourself here too! keep it up.
I love my gl2, thanks for reminding me to shoot with it more often. Did you just use fcp to color correct and stuff?

Good lighting is key. I used lighting for this and then in post took down the blacks a bit and everything really popped.

I use Nattress plugins for Final Cut and I love them. They are only $100 for a great package of plugins.

I have to try setting the white balance like that. This is the look I want for one scene in a short film I'm filming.
