Hearns was the better between him and 'sugar' though. He did win their second fight despite the corruptness of outcome. Dominated it actually. Dominated all but a few rounds of their first meeting as well.

1st fight Hearns came in too light by overtraining. He ran out of energy. The second was a v close fight. Leonard was landing plenty too.

LOL the audience boos a Tommy Hearns fight. The punching bag did nothing to fight back at all but get blasted with hooks.

It's incredible that Sugar Ray Leonard beat this guy in his prime. When Hearns fought guys who were good not great (Medal, Shuler, Hutchings) he DESTROYED them. 

By the way Medal was in one of the greatest fights I've ever seen against a guy named Earl Hargrove. Check it out if you get a chance.
