  • it good

  • The music you used was as if God was creating the universe .This goes there, that attaches to this, then this blows that and that produces and sustains the balance.

  • this is confusing! all those tubes ?!?!?! AHHHH

  • thanks a bunch

  • Very interesting...

  • there are products available - not additive but clamp-on type - which assist in improving efficiency of an eqipment like boiler, furnace ...... In case of Gas turbine also it would offer results. However, some say such devices may "affect" turbine parts? when asked how??? - no reply. can any one throw more light on this?

  • is there any provision by which "combustion efficiency" can be improved?

  • good but plz adding more detailes in ur explainiatin

i mean the parts of the plant

    thanks alot :)

  • The chimney should be as thin or thinner than the turbine exit. So the gas cant expand and loose its heat to motion of the gas.

  • muy buen video exelente lo felicito al que lo subio y lo diseño

  • this is a combyned cycle turbine energy generation system

  • excelente video pero si alguien me lo traduciera e españl todo lo que dice se lo agradeceria mucho

  • @lug89x ???????????

  • Nice video but I prefer a cartload of watermelllllllon, okay ?

  • the cost of such a plant really depends of location, number of units, options such as dual fuel and most of all the manufacturer.

Can start at 200-300 million euros a unit for 400MW but it can get much higher.

it also depends of the technology of the gas turbine and estimated efficiency

  • It would be nice if you mention an estimated cost of machinery used in such systems. Although there are many variables involved and it is much difficult to figure out the cost but just for having an idea as many countries are facing a power crisis these days and the higher management of private industrial sector is seriously thinking about deploying privately owned power plants.

  • @ziaarsalanzia

    example: 2 Gas-turbines, 2 Generators (105KV), 2 Boilers,

    3 Gas-Compressors, 2 Oil machines to lubricate

    60 Million

  • steam turbine PP has an efficiency of 30%

and gas turbine PP 20% but the amaizing thing is when u combine those two PP you got an efficiency nearlly to 60 %

  • why NO closed captioned in here video,,,

put it on closed captioned in here video

  • What is the efficiency of a plant like this?

    Cool video

  • it depends of manufacturer and plant location, but it is around 55 to 58 %.

this video is a part of a siemens presentation

  • It's up to 64% the last design I looked at.

Ultra super critical steam cycles are about at 50% (coal plants).

  • Nice animation, except some of the turbine blades appear to be spinning the wrong way!!

By the way, the is not a reheat cycle. It is called a combined cycle.

  • Combined cycle uses reheated steam. After passing the high pressure turbine the steam is mixed with intermediate pressure(IP) steam from the IP drum and all of it is reheated on the HRSG before going to the IP turbine

  • is this reheat cycle for gas turbine ??

  • Siemens V84.3A camara anular

  • thanx alot

  • great animation

  • awesome

  • yap

  • thats great

  • very nice idea! who invented it?

  • Siemens!

  • those guys! haha
