@KradlaDitxX dont throw your comp out the window. It's really easy to add characters. Just download the characters off the internet. Look up "mugen characters", then download them, unzip them, put them in your "chars" folder inside your mugen folder, then open up your "select.def" file inside the "data" folder and read there how to add a character to the game from the "chars" folder. If you need more help, lemme know. I'm a beginner myself, btw. Just had MUGEN for about a week.
