  • めちゃめちゃ、ドラム上手いですね~~

    サイコーのロックンロールバンドですね~~~

  • in 1960 I was going into music store for a clarinet lesson in Sioux City, Iowa, heard somebody playing 'Walk Don,t Run. I started buying Ventures records right after that. these days when I want to blow somebody away who has music sense I put their stuff in the machine and wait for the "wow-factor". the best jams from the early 60,s

  • the Ventures was in our town yesterday.

  • @iWaffles95 Same here! I think that losts of teens like us get a bad press for this kind of think, we get stereotyped. I knwow many people that listen to this sort of thing.

  • No band could overwhelm THE VENTURES forever!

  • 1:15 check out Mel's hand!

  • My dad has the CD of this recording and I am proud to say that I am a 15 year old listening to music created 50 years ago :) TAKE THAT BRITNEY SPEARS! HA.

  • No clicks, thunks, plunks or strange sounds coming from their instruments. I have always been a Ventures fan, yet this video leaves me in awe and more respectful than I ever have been of their talent.

  • where is all this footage from?

  • IN Japan The Ventures were very popular until now. There are many tribute bands sprang over there

  • Just so rad

  • I'm sorry but I have wonder if they got laid when they were there! You want comfort woman Joe?

  • Love the part with the face masks.

  • Cool!

  • What a great paced drum solo, 5 minutes long! Way better than that over-rated In A Gadda Da Vida solo

  • This is such cool footage thanks for posting.

  • That little boy/girl in 2:45 is so cute!

  • How did Nokie Edwards' fingers ever keep up at such a fast pace? And still sound musical.

    It like today's shredding

  • Their guitars sound kinda out of tune

  • awesome!!

  • Caravan is a masterpiece for gods sake!

  • YES!!!!!

Their version of Caravan is a masterpiece!

  • @genemz5

Amen to that! Masterpiece is right.

  • the ventures were way ahead of everyone else, nobody could match them as an instrumental live group in those days.

  • The reason I liked the Ventures is that they played melody and Mel Taylor had such great classical technic on the drums.

  • Great video! Can't get enough of it!

  • Tokyo rocked by THE VENTURES...!! Love to see them with the natives who loved them and their musical talents....!! Amazing performance...!!Thanks for uploading to youtube...

  • Wooooow Fantastic¡

  • Hmmm..that second song sounded a bit like the song "Wipe Out"....but it was slightly different,so I'm not sure.

  • Thanks for posting those clips as well as some others! Such as Joe Dassin.

Hope I can return this favor one day!
