When I first stopped eating meat it was so great to eat a meal without a sentient being having to die for it. I marveled at this. Shopping became fun and an adventure. Now it is just natural, as it should be to eat or use any animal products. I became closer to what I believe God is and how we are meant to eat and act. Thank you for sharing. xo
Besides, if God intended for his creatures to be herbivores, carnivores, and omnivores, why would anyone punish themselves for being made that way? Animals don't agree with vegetarianism either. Just the natural way of things.
I was a vegetarian for five years and became very unhealthy, I couldn't do it but love animals and think they should be treated the best!. Luckily not all farms are like that with the chickens and such... you can buy cage free eggs at the store check them out :)

If you are a small farmer and your animals are healthy happy and cared for before being served for dinner then kudos to you, but this is not the case for millions of beings. Personally I prefer to eat wild game,(very feasible where I live) as these animals have lived a natural life and die in an instant ,having never known what just happened. And of course the usda would love to see all the family farms with happy animals just go away!

Salvation of souls is for humans created in the image of God. animals do not have souls. Animals are here for humans to use and enjoy, for food, clothing and for friendship. I am not supporting animal abuse. The calves are then put into individual huts to protect them from harsh weather, and to help keep from spreading disease, since the calf has a fragile immune system, if one was to get infected with something, the others would too. the calves are taken out after about 1-2 months, and they are put into community pens with other calves.
That's not how all the producers do it. Cows are even sent to slaughter while pregnant, or just having birth, and calves discarded like garbage. I've seen it, in videos and in real life.
Ok, so about the veal calves, all dairy cows before they birth get put into a calving pen, (birthing pen) when they calve (give birth) the dairymen make sure that that calve gets the colostrum from the milk in the first 24 hrs. The colostrum has nutrients and antibodies to help support the calves immune system, since the anitbodies cannot be passed through the placental membrane, like how human babies get their anitbodies from theirmother.

I've thought about going vegan before because I adore animals and feel that there are many other food options in the world, but I can't help but think that there is a "circle of life" Animals have feelings, but that doesn't stop bears, sharks from eating humans, or snakes from biting humans. I just don't see why the cycle would have to stop with humans. I'm not trying to attack you; I'm honestly really curious and searching to make a decision. A response would be greatly appreciated!

It can't be compared to nature, because animals are massively produced in order to feed the population. It is terrible, that is why factory farms exist. Because so many people want to eat so much meat.
If our lives don't depend on killing animals to survive then we shouldn't do it. Besides, it is not really that healthy anymore, considering all the stuff they pump into animals to manipulate them into growing faster and bigger.
The majority of the animals people eat these days are shadows of what they would truly be in "nature".
Two; if we made laws protecting animals to the degree vegans suggest then a full one third of this country would starve.
Three; humans have the right to eat animals. It is a natural right for us since we are also animals.
Four; I like to eat meat and no one has the right to deny it to me. If you attempt to pass laws making it more dificult for me to do so then you are interfering with my rights.
1. Just because you don't think animals should have rights it doesn't mean that's the way it is.
2. Animal welfare reforms happen gradually. Change happens in such a way societies adapt, economy adjusts the same way it has been with other social reforms.
3. Humans are omnivores, we have a choice and we are better off animal products.
4. Who's denying you this "right" of yours? Veganism is a choice. Don't be such a big baby.

i understand your stand on saving animals but if we saved all the animals than the earth would be over ran and we would have way more dieases. Actually the belief that we would be overrun with animals if we stopped eating them isn't entirely true. If there was no demand for meat, there would be no need to overbreed/mass produce them and we would have FEWER diseases, as one of the main reasons we have disease is because of animal product consumption.
Also we are NOT natural omnivores; we evolved into them. In reality our teeth are designed for grinding/chewing PLANTS, not flesh!

This is a beautiful vedio. The animals dipicted are gorgeous! The fact is that these creatures are food animals! They should be treated well, but the time will come when they will feed man. Thats the way it is.

Absolutely beautiful! This is the way God intended! We were to CARE for the animals and the Bible says that He provided man with the fruits and vegetables to be our "meat". It's right there in the book of Genesis. God looks upon us as his "sheep". How it must disgust Him what "humans" have done with our own flocks. When I first stopped eating meat it was so great to eat a meal without a sentient being having to die for it. I marveled at this. Shopping became fun and an adventure. Now it is just natural, as it should be to eat or use any animal products. I became closer to what I believe God is and how we are meant to eat and act. Thank you for sharing. xo

I was a vegetarian for five years and became very unhealthy, I couldn't do it but love animals and think they should be treated the best!. Luckily not all farms are like that with the chickens and such... you can buy cage free eggs at the store check them out :)

If you are a small farmer and your animals are healthy happy and cared for before being served for dinner then kudos to you, but this is not the case for millions of beings. Personally I prefer to eat wild game,(very feasible where I live) as these animals have lived a natural life and die in an instant ,having never known what just happened. And of course the usda would love to see all the family farms with happy animals just go away!

I'm 15-years-old, and I've been a vegetarian for 3 years. I don't understand how anyone could see the routine cruelties that take place in modernized factory farms, during distribution, and slaughter. Animals are such beautiful things with such pure souls. To eat them is heartless.

Thats why God told people not only to sacrifice animals but what animals could be eaten. the only reason we no longer sacrifice animals for the remission of sins is because Jesus sacrifed His own life for our sins. animals are not on the same level as us. Ok, so about the veal calves, all dairy cows before they birth get put into a calving pen, (birthing pen) when they calve (give birth) the dairymen make sure that that calve gets the colostrum from the milk in the first 24 hrs. The colostrum has nutrients and antibodies to help support the calves immune system, since the anitbodies cannot be passed through the placental membrane, like how human babies get their anitbodies from theirmother.

I've thought about going vegan before because I adore animals and feel that there are many other food options in the world, but I can't help but think that there is a "circle of life" Animals have feelings, but that doesn't stop bears, sharks from eating humans, or snakes from biting humans. I just don't see why the cycle would have to stop with humans. I'm not trying to attack you; I'm honestly really curious and searching to make a decision. A response would be greatly appreciated!

2. Animal welfare reforms happen gradually. Change happens in such a way societies adapt, economy adjusts the same way it has been with other social reforms.
3. Humans are omnivores, we have a choice and we are better off animal products.

i understand your stand on saving animals but if we saved all the animals than the earth would be over ran and we would have way more dieases. We were given teeth for a reason and we are omnivors. just to let you know i love beef burgers,pork so i hope you understand me when i say nice video but i am still going to eat meat sorry.

Actually the belief that we would be overrun with animals if we stopped eating them isn't entirely true. If there was no demand for meat, there would be no need to overbreed/mass produce them and we would have FEWER diseases, as one of the main reasons we have disease is because of animal product consumption.
Also we are NOT natural omnivores; we evolved into them. In reality our teeth are designed for grinding/chewing PLANTS, not flesh!

This is a beautiful vedio. The animals dipicted are gorgeous! The fact is that these creatures are food animals! They should be treated well, but the time will come when they will feed man. Thats the way it is.

I am glad you liked my video. You should know though, that all animals can be food animals. Even you and me. But it doesn't have to be like this, that is the whole point.
I see no difference between eating a cow and eating a cat. Pigs are even smarter than dogs, but we don't give them enough credit because they're ham? Not fair now is it?

i've been feeling rotten and discouraged today for several reasons, not least of which was getting a traffic ticket....long story short, this video is really healing for me to see...i'm a big supporter of Farm Sanctuary for a while now.

There wouldn't be any of these animals to put in a video if everyone stopped eating meat. Animal abuse is sad and wrong but just because a small number of people beat their dog doesn't make every dog owner bad.

I was responding to oxford14...told me that I'm an animal graveyard. My point was that drinking water makes you an animal graveyard, because it's ALL recycled water. My way of trying to illustrated the superfluous nature of his/her metaphor.

Absolutely beautiful! This is the way God intended! We were to CARE for the animals and the Bible says that He provided man with the fruits and vegetables to be our "meat". It's right there in the book of Genesis. God looks upon us as his "sheep". How it must disgust Him what "humans" have done with our own flocks. It absolutely breaks my heart to know what goes on every single minute to these wonderful beings, and the fear, pain and cruelty they have to endure. Keep up the good work!!

Meat is yummy.
Oh and, if you're going to anthropomorphize farm animals, why not animalfy humans? Animals eating other animals is as old as history...and I don't care how you slice the comparison, we're much nicer to our food than say, leopards. Or hyenas. Yeesh, the hyenas.
Keep in mind prolonged vegetarianism still causes health problems in humans. Those canines exist for a reason, folks. Pass the bacon, please. :D

Clogged arteries are less a function of what you eat as it is your genetics and the amount of exercise you get.
Drinking water makes you a walking animal/human graveyard, it's all recycled. Air, too.
