  • My wife caught me listening to some of your music and she wants a CD. Has it been released and, if so, how can we get a copy? I'm just getting back in to playing jazz and this is what I'm gunnin' for as far as sound - smooth jazz and older jazz standards. I use a Gibson CS356 and a Guild X500 like yours. Now, if I can only get my mind to cooperate with my fingers again . . . Nice work. Very nice!

  • Does anyone know what kind of amp he uses, to get that sound?

  • @elkman278 Hi - I'm using Amplitube software, the Dark Jazz preset with some eq. Sounds close to an amp to me too.

  • @RichArnoldMusic

Thanks for your response. I was wondering how much and what types equipment do I need? I got a computer and a guitar, and small amp.

  • Hi Tom

Nope it's a $350 Dot cheapie. (I did try ALOT of them to find this one, though)

  • Is that an old Epiphone Sheraton? sounds too good to be a Dot. different headstock to a Gibson, different inlays to a modern sheraton II.

  • beautiful sound to my hear!!

  • Fantastic! This is a must listen...

  • good plays, hat kinds of scales did you use? sound good

  • @kkakkevin I think he uses Dorian scales. To find them, just find any mayor scale on the fretboard, but use the the second note (II) as a the root. e.g. A "C mayor" scale will give you a D dorian sclale

    good luck!
