WOW, nothin' but BEAUTY here in this AWESOME Vid,....beautiful vibes and the images are PRICELESS,...Thumbs up to ya jcmegabyte and thankin' sweet Yvonne for the GREAT share! = )
Truly an awe inspiring video. I feel so calm and relaxed when I view these marvelous collections of beautiful images of the world we live in. Right from the start to the very end this video was stunning. This video gets a thumbs up & is going in my favorites. I'm going to share this video with friends and family. Thanks for producing!
Thanks so much for the great comment and kind words! I was really just getting started with this one. Too bad this was before YouTube supported HD - I would have liked to make it in HD resolution :-) Cheers!
Maybe some day I'll get a 4K RED camera and can actually do something in high enough resulution for an IMAX feature :-) Thanks for the view and great comment!
Thanks so much, Alicia! I'm hoping to re-make this one in HD some time soon. As I listen to it now, the default playback isn't even in stereo... yuck! I guess you have to use the &fmt=18 URL modifier or the HQ button to get the better (stereo) version.
hey, another awesome vid! I do remember once we flew in a very small plane and took off flying above those clouds at sunset. We were mesmerized by the incredible colors and shapes of the clouds. It was sublime but the winds got too strong and we had to come down. This sky just looks like this one. Do you still fly?
Unfortunately, I have been able to fly much myself, beyond a few soaring lessons and some flight time in small aircraft, and never got my pilot's license. :-( However, I've designed, built and logged TONS of hours on Radio-Controlled aircraft, mostly sailplanes. I guess that goes along with my fascination with the sky, flight, and atmospheric science... Seems I'm always looking up! Thanks for watching my stuff :-)
Thanks so much for watching! This was one of my favorite "no rules - just make stuff up as you go" vids. Fun to make and fun to watch again later! :-)
After the images are collected, each still frame is digitally processed to bring out the color, contrast and definition. It takes a lot of time and effort, but the resulting video is far more spectacular in the end. Thanks for watching! :-)
Hot dog, that stereo really did make a difference! This must have been such a satisfying project for you because I feel a release at each new frame. How magnificent the cloud formations as they playfully erupt and glide. Simple pleasures are the most fulfilling. You capture so many moments with your keen eye and love for the majesty of the sky down to the smallest wriggling creature.
Thanks so much for taking the time to enjoy this one :D I'm happy to hear did the stereo version - I put almost as must effort into the music as the visuals and the audio quality really does make a difference to me, too. Thanks, too, for the sweet and thoughtful comment! :-)
Amazing clip, majestic music, what more can I say? I watched it over and over and still cannot have enough of it!I would gladly buy the cd with this music...
Actually, your timing is good - I just released the CD with this one on it last week! It's called "TimeShift" and has 76+ minutes of my original music (22 tracks). They're $6 at the eStore on on the JCMDI website. Full details are there. I'll send you the direct links in PM.
Exceptional! For those of us who dabble, you have set the bar mighty high, indeed! Few of the things I discover in cyberspace are worth 5:49 of my time. THIS is one of them!
Super cool comment - Thank you very much! I really enjoyed making it, too. The more I mess with this time lapse stuff, the more cool things I see that didn't seem to be there when I started! :D
I know what you mean - on almost every one of those big fluffy white cumulus sequences, an aircraft of some sort flew through the scene. The original full-res frames show it much better than the lower res YT version. Not as much fun as UFOs, but was pretty cool anyway. Thanks for watching! :D
I hope the HQ ver got to see was the stereo one (the music really adds to the "feel" of it). Thanks for the nice comment, and also for favoriting my vids! Cheers! :D
I really love your time-lapse work. I can't imagine any better integration with more perfect music either. My favorite shots were the full moon rise fading into the clouds and the contrails that shapeshifted into a dove... Keep up the great work!
I got chills at that part too - the Jarre-style strings really compliment that particular sequence. It was unintentional at compilation time but a nice surprise upon seeing it in playback! Thanks so much for the really nice comment and view :D :D
I WISH! Hahahaha XD Actually, I'm shooting in HD now so maybe with a ton of luck you'll some of my work on the big screen some day, the way it is meant to be seen. YT is great for casual viewing but this stuff really deserves a high quality medium to be fully appreciated. Thanks for stopping by! :-)

Very cool shots! We often forget just how beautiful this world is when we don't look up from time to time! I'm usually considered weird for sky watching and star gazing but I love it! Great video!
I know what you mean - I get a few weird looks myself - especially with my cameras pointed at a seemingly empty sky for hours on end! All that time spent sure pays-off in the end with some great footage. :D
Oh yes - all my videos are 100% my own work, from the original time lapse photography still frames to the original music composition and performance. Putting the video together from there is the easy part! :D

I definitely enjoy being creative, and making videos really lets me satisfy that need! All of the streaks of light in the sky are low (more-or-less) flying aircraft. The faster, lighter ones are commercial jets, in the air traffic pattern for Burbank Airport. Santa Clarita sits right in the normal flight path. The brighter, slower ones are helicopters and light planes. The skies get pretty busy here at times!
beautiful! And the music went well, with the video too! Very calming and peaceful! Just the thing to unwind with at the end of the day! thanks for the send!10/10 **********
