I think Kirk's main love interest in the JJ Abrams universe will be Carol Marcus (mother of his kid in the original universe). The writers have said they intended to briefly introduce her in this movie as a childhood friend of Kirk's but didn't have the time for it so it was cut. It will probably end up being the main romance in the sequel.. since this movie was more Spock-centric, I think the next one will be more Kirk.
