  • Soy, well unfermented soy that is, has tripson inhibitors that prevent your body from absorbing and digesting protein.

  • where do i get calcium?

  • A lot of soya, rice and oat milks have calcium added to them.

    You just need vitimin D which on a good sunny day you just need to be outside for 20 minutes or if it is cloudly then you can get dairy free margarines with vitimin D added. 10 grams provides enough vitimin D for the day.

    I don't recommend drinking animal milks as your body will excrete calcium from your bones to deal with the animal proteins in milk. With milk you are losing more calcium than you take in.

  • You mean animal protein in general causes calcium loss?

  • It depends on what protein it is. But casein can't be got rid of except your body excretes calcium from your bones.

    It is a proven fact that in high dairy comsuming countries are the highest in bone weakening diseases.

  • Vegetables.

  • Greens. Cabbage, brocoli and on. If we ate vegetable based diets we'd know how abundant it is. If you eat veggies once a day and no greens you need milk. Especially if you have hig acid diet. This means you sugar, juice, vinegar and alchool consummers out there. GL!

  • I really only drink milk cause i thought it would help you grow cause it has good calcium for the bones. Any foods you can reccomend that will replace this function so i can avoid drinking milk?

  • Well you have a choice of soya, rice and oat milks. I actually perfer Rice Dream with calcium added, 250ml provides about 60% of RDA.

    Also if you are planning some day to go vegan there are some dairy free margarines you can buy which are just as good as those that have buttermilk in them.

  • the only good milks are GOAT MILK..stated by LUKE lowery of DOuble your vertical jump.. and also raw milk..
