this demo is a truly epic one. You can clearly hear that this is going to be "Hold On", but there are still other elements in there that would have made it a great song if it was just released the way it was. I really like it - especially the chorus which differs from "Hold On" very much - actually I have to drop a little tear that this version of the chorus did not make it into the final song.

You can tell that this isn't very "Yes" at this point - especially the chorus. I'm so glad that Trevor worked with Jon, Chris, Tony and Alan to make this a great Yes song. This had some good bones but needed a reworking for sure.

It's clear listening to all these demos that "Hold On" was a massive work in progress that Trevor put a lot of work into prior to joining Yes.

The chords are the same as "Hold On".

@kellalizard Thats because it was made before Hold On It was going to be Trevor Rabin's Album and then Yes came to recruit him and Trevor gave the songs to Yes.
