Dalai Lama mentions that there are no Shugden practitioners in India, but there are many Shugden practitioners living in Europe, America, Taiwan (where there is a religious freedom unlike Tibetan community in India), as well as Tibet etc. shows that in India where he has a full control Shugden practitioners were forced to go underground and be segregated by his policies. Is it non-sect?
Lineage Holder! Get it right once and for all. Dorje shugden practitioners promote sectarianism. By speaking against dorje shugden cult's sectarianism, HIs Holiness is promoting non-sectarianism and inter-traditinal harmony. By your logic, if we speak against someone perpetrating murder, like HItler, we are then guilty of VIOLATING that person's freedom of speech and expression!

Tibetan people want freedom; China will never be a great and lasting world power until the Tibetan people and Tibetan Buddhism are free from China’s precaution. Long life to the Dalai Lama!
These aren't non-sectarian prayers as the Dalai Lama once again chose to use it as an opportunity to promote his political agenda of criticising Dorje Shugden practice and its followers. Every single person, believer/non-believer/atheist can attend the Dalai Lama's teachings but Dorje Shugden practitioners are banned. How is that non-sectarian?
I hadn't really been aware that there is a continuing flow of immigration from Tibet to India. While the nonsectarian prayers are always good, it also makes sense that this is almost more like a basic large scale welcoming ceremony for thousands of people. I haven't seen this done much by other religious groups, but it is nice that such a leader has bothered to do this for 'his people'. Good to see HHK17 there as well. Don't know the name of the long haired Lama yet, but know he's "special".
