I remember seeing that show when it first aired back in the early 60s!!! And they also sang "Three little maids from school!!

The best line though was after one of their trios, Dinah Shore said on camera "I could have used the mike in my throat for that song" I'll never forget it as long as I live!

Dame Joan was just a gem on the show and the three ladies got along beautifully!

@WestVoice No. She's not. She's one of the best opera singers of all time and her technique is near perfection. It's not me. It's the general consensus; read any opera publication. She just has the ability to sing way higher than the other two wonderful, but very different voices. She's actually not singing louder, but higher.

God thats funny !Dinah Shore motioning the person holding the microphone to bring it in closer to her and Ella Fitzgerald LOL! Dame Joan drowned them out and without a microphone near her. RIP Dame Joan Sutherland.

LOL, Dinah and Ella are fine singers, specially Ella who had one of the most beautiful voices in the world, but Joan...she's something else, her voice swallows even the beautiful husky power of Ella.
